Vanilla Ice stole that suit from Harvey "Two-Face" Dent.
Also, he stole those stripy shorts from the Joker.
Also, if you look Cool as Ice up on IMDB, Naomi Campbell gets top billing. That's right: Vanilla Ice doesn't even get top billing in his own vanity film, and loses out to what amounts to a cameo appearance.

I can't believe it, Lupa! How dare you consider this Vanilla Ice abomination better than the greatest film ever made! I seriously now question your reviewing skills! :(
Just kidding! :D
This review was fantastic, Lupa! Hopefully, no one here will actually think that you consider 'Cool as Ice" to be better than 'Citizen Kane'! I mean, that would just be wacky! :D

I remember when O. Lupa did the video: ''Top 10 hottest animated dogs'' in her usual sarcastic manner.
I was surprised as how many people commented something like this: ''wow, Lupa... I don't get it... Was this supposed to be a joke? Why would you make a list of hottest dogs?'' and similar dumb comments.
So I am relieved that no one commented a similar thing about this video... yet...

I don't get it - why is it such common sense for people Citizen Kane is a "pure masterpiece" to the point that people even spoof it to as some sort of cheap joke saying it isn't?
My dad LOVES older movies. Especially realistic ones. He thinks Citizen Kane is highly overrated and boring. And look at me - I haven't seen it... I can already tell it's a bore. And I appreciate older movies. The first two Godfather movies where great - and hell, Some Like It Hot is one of my favorite comedies of all time.
But once again, even though this site tries to tell us it's okay to have your own opinion, they take for granted we MUST love or hate something. Everyone MUST hate the Star Wars Prequels appearantly, and everyone MUST love Citizen Kane.
Am I overanalyzing? I don't think so. Even humor can affect how we look at and value things.
Then again, at least this movie isn't as overrated as The Shawshank Redemption. :P Great, IMDB - your nr 1 movie is also the most mediocre movie of all time. People are boring that way.
I honestly think you reviewers on this site are delusional. Why else would you pretend like the Star Wars Prequels are any "worse" than the original trilogy? I'm a fan of all 6 movies - and all arguments to the prequels are either farfetched, invalid or relatable to the original trilogy... except the overuse of CGI in the prequels, which I still can understand why people have gripes about.
-

The prequels weren't horrible. Personally, I thought they did have certain aspects that increased the overall quality of the films (Episode 1 - Music, Episode 2 - Imagery, and Episode 3 - References to ET). I wouldn't consider the films to be great though since those good parts of the films are overshadowed by the incompetent nature in which the films were presented by those in charge (This did make the films memorable to me in the same way as Troll 2 though).
I agree that the story of the rise of Darth Vader is a really good story to tell and I applaud Lucas for trying to create something on his own to prove himself, yet I question Lucas's direction of those films.
In general, I don't really care for the prequels. Most of my complaints have already been covered by Mr.Plinkett's videos, ConfusedMatthew's videos, Distressed Watcher's videos, and the film "The People Vs. George Lucas". I think their complaints are quite valid though.
I agree that The Shawshank Redemption is a tad overrated, yet the reason why I love the film so much is because of the superb performance that Morgan Freeman gave in the film. I still believe him to have been robbed at the Oscars. I have always considered his performance to be much better than that of Tom Hanks for his lead role in Forest Gump. I mean, that's the reason why I believe Robert Donat deserved to win best actor in the 1939 Academy Awards for his performance in Goodbye Mr.Chips, even though he was going up against the much more popular Clark Gable for his performance in Gone with the Wind.
"Everyone MUST hate the Star Wars Prequels appearantly, and everyone MUST love Citizen Kane."
Watch Nostalgia Chick's guilty pleasure video.
If you like the Star Wars Prequels, more power to you, yet you have to realize that some people, like myself, won't care for it. I, for example, has always liked the film Moonwalker, but I also understand that most people don't. You don't have to love Citizen Kane, yet you should be able to respect the film and its place in history. Even though it failed to gain popularity when it was first released, for the time, it truly was a masterpiece that tried to introduce new styles of filmmaking and storytelling to cinema.

I saw Confused Matthew's and Distressed Watcher's videos complaining about the prequels. They where offensive, immature and had a ton of invalid arguments.
As a matter of fact, I have already defended Star Wars Episode I more than well in my review for it I'm growing semi-famous for writing: http://fav.me/d4q1wy5
If you read it... please, no hateful comments, no tl;tr comments whining and complaining and trying to "put me in my place" - I will just ignore it and hide it. The review is meant for all us lovers of the prequels to feel like we're not bad persons for loving them, and for all you haters of the prequels to have a more mature understanding for why we love them. Not saying YOU are an immature hater - just that most haters ARE immature. Like CinemaSnob's friend in his vlog after watching Episode I in 3D, who says that anyone who loves Episode I should be hung.
I don't care if that was a "joke" - it's offensive and immature. And you comparing the Star Wars Prequels to Troll 2 really felt offensive.
I won't check for further responses here. If you really want to talk to me further, then do so through DeviantArt, which is where the link will lead you to.

No offense, Star Wars prequels may not be the worst films of all time, but they are much, much weaker and poorer than the original Star Wars movies.
You have not looked Mr.Plinkett's videos?
You should say a better argument, not just say that someone's criticism is "offensive, immature and had a ton of invalid arguments".
Let me see your detailed critique of the Star Wars prequels, and why you feel that these films are not as bad as "everyone" says.

I wouldst message him on DA. If he disagrees with what you say he'll just block you. He's just some deluded Star Wars fan who likes to bring it into any conversation, even when it isn't even mentioned. Saying that, he is now responsible for some of my longest running gags so the longer he keeps posting here the more material I get.
Also, I wouldn't listen to him as, according to his own words in this video, he has sex with his cat

Wait Welshy, is he the guy you're always making fun of with the gag order?
"And you comparing the Star Wars Prequels to Troll 2 really felt offensive."
DAMN RIGHT! How DARE you insult Troll 2 like that! Seriously though, there is only one thing that sucks worse than the Star Wars pequels, and that's the origional Star Wars movies (Teddy bear army, need I say more)

Nope, that was Jordan off of BS. This is the guy who saw my comment about me being as excited about the release Scream 4 as the Star Wars fans being excited about the release of Episode 1...and in his tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny mind, he saw it as an insult (as he of course would seeing as how he can never stop talking about them and accept people just may not like them) and decided to call me out on Twitter. So I've proceeded to make him a runner in my vids. The whole NC commercial in Backwoods Bloodbath is mostly dedicated to him, hence why he gets a special thanks in the credits.
He has a history of being a bit of a loon though, as this guys YT vid can verify.

Sorry, my mistake! I said the wrong thing in the above sentence.
" I have always considered his performance to be much better than that of Tom Hanks for his lead role in Forest Gump"
It should have read like this:
"I have always considered Morgan Freeman's performance in The Shawshank Redemption to be much better than that of Tom Hank's performance in Forest Gump."

Dear Kurvos.
Over analyzing?
Of course you are,all the time, and that's why we love you.
To see you making an embarrassment of yourself by making counter argument to yourself.
As for the Star Wars prequels. They're terrible, like,a lot!
Now go to Red Letter Media Website and look at their in depth review of the prequel and come back crying.
Coz they actually come with arguments and clearly do their work and research, unlike some people I won't mention because we both know it's you.
Have a nice day.

Wow. I forgot just how bad that movie is. Ah but Citizen Kane though...I've only seen it once, and that was due to the fact that my Film Analysis class was doing how movies were influenced by politics and how they that to the audience for the semester and since the first film we had to analyze was our choice, I went with Citizen Kane because up until I actually saw it, I had heard it hyped as this great political movie. Of course it wasn't, in fact the whole political aspect was just blip in the grander scheme of things.
The point of my story being, while I thought it was alright, I didn't understand why people rave about it the way they do. Though I might have to see it again. Despite this though, the movie still holds a special place in my heart since it was my grandfather's favorite movie ever. So when I think of the movie, I think of him.

This was cool, it was cooler than being cool, so cool but I can't quite put my vanilla on how to describe it. Your top 10 lists get 10 thumbs up on my charts. Do not take these movies to heart Lupa, please stick with your Phzero and do not get said hero as prescribed by the homeboy doctor of thuganomics, seek a second opinion

I saw Citizen kane once, when I was younger and still went to elementary school,my parents forced me to watch it because ''its a masterpeace'', ''culture'' and stuff. I didnt like it,but then again I was a kid.And I still hate the ending.I love happy endings, those people worked their asses off to find Rosebud and they failed and burned it!!?So not my type.
THOUGH
Cool as Ice also isnt my type. I'm more into fantasy movies. Which is my fav?Hmm,I'd have to think about it. But if Im rushed to answer my fav movie I'd just say the Harry Potter franchise

Actually, this was the first film that ever introduced the notion of a sad ending to me when I was a child. I mean, up until watching this film, I always assumed that every story ended happily. So in a way, this film gave me a lesson as a kid similar to the lesson I learned when I saw Unico as a kid (poor Unico T_T).

I've only seen Citizen Kane once in my American Films class in college. It's not on my list of favorite films of all time, but I agree that, at the time, it set the standard for the film industry including story and cinematography.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna re-watch The Nostalgia Critic review of Cool as Ice to keep my sanity of good movie taste intact.
