You know, I always wondered what kind of name was Phelan (you are the first guy I have never meet with that name Phelous) so I decided to look it up in my book of baby names and here is what it says directly from the book.
Phelan:(Irish Gaelic) means "Little Wolf" or "Wolf" was a complimentary name for courage.
I just thought it would be a fun little tidbit you guys would be interested in. :)

Totally random, but that reminds me of my grandfather's middle name. It wasn't Phelan. His was Rudolph which in German means "Lone Wolf" and it's also meant to be a compliment for strength/courage. Something like that. It's been awhile since I looked it up.
Love the video you guys! You two are so cute together!

01.06.2012 - 05:09 | alexanderthegreatYou know what else means "Little Wolf" in Irish Gaelic? Conan.
Well, technically "Little Hound," but close enough, right?

I have to admit, out-of-character segments like this (Brad Tries, Spoony's vlogs, etc) are more entertaining than they have any right to be. Then again, seeing the people behind those characters interacting so well off each other in a non-scripted setting is amusing and endearing. For me personally, it's a sort of time capsule for the "Lupastream" days of 2011, when one could hear these two interact (and do Film Brain impressions) on a semi-regular basis. Nicely done, guys.

01.03.2012 - 03:50 | ckyvickMochi icecream is pretty good, basically the same as what you had but a thinner coating of mochi and icecream in the middle.
That gel outside is mochi, made from smooshed rice.

Buttons are simply just chocolate :P They are often given to very young children since they are a good size for them to suck on for awhile. To be fair the brand of chocolate is very boring lol.
Fudge, just brings up the great joke of, what do you call the people that packs this chocolate bar into box's and sends it off? Hurr hurr :P
Crunchy = Honeycomb :P
Whisper = Aero wannabe.
Picnic: Oh god who even buys those D: Get it away from me!!!

01.03.2012 - 04:15 | Tasty SalamandersI can't believe I watched the whole thing. It kinda made me feel like a creeper watching it. Anyhow now some of my comments on the food!
We have some of those chocolate bars from the first pack here in Australia too, though I am fairly sure our Picnic bars don't have raisins.
Also I love those Japan green tea things but I can only get them when I got to Sydney.
On the hot chips, I love spicy food so would probably like them myself.
Unholy Cthulhu! Why would anyone design a bottle like that! Also soda (we call it soft drink) is carbonated here too.
Also I am now curious about the curiosity cola.
-
The people who make Curiosity Cola are based in my town, and according to one of their marketing heads (whom I had a chat with, and got a couple free cases of Lemonade in the process) they've started exporting to Australia. Particularly their Ginger Beer. So you may be able to find it soon.
Out of all the drinks they make the Cola is probably my least favourite. It does taste like off brand Cola, but it's actually quite nice.

Mochi is an aquired taste. I personally like Ice Cream Mochi. The flavor is really there in the ice cream and the mochi dough isn't bad when it's chilled and surrounding deliciousness. Regular mochi I can't eat though, the red bean paste is just too weird.
Ramune soda I have quite of few of. I even have a bottle or two in my storage unit back home. The soda is SUPER sweet but I personally like the marble in the bottle. Sure it's a pain in the ass to get it open and you have to try really hard to break the bottle and get the marble out XD

The internets is great. Right now I'm eating, while watching a guy who is watching a girl who is eating. Snake, you created a time paradox...

01.03.2012 - 10:29 | SiingI've never seen no Picnics with raisins in them before o.o
The ordinary Picnic bar is awesome though, one of my favorite bars... Which is weird because I really dislike both caramel and peanuts in pretty much everything else. Something about it makes it work. I don't know why you found crunchy odd lol. Though it looks spongy it hardly is. It's exactly what it's name pertains it to be, 'crunchy' on the inside. Also up there with my favorite bars, if not my favorite. Though I'm hardly a chocolate person, one bite and I'll need a cup of water haha.

Fudge isn't chocolate. It's fudge. Chocolate fudge alone is chocolate. Somewhere along the way you folks seem to have dropped the "chocolate" part of the name. Captain Obvious to the rescue!
Crunchie = honeycomb covered in chocolate. Do you guys not have honeycomb over there? It's basically toffee made with baking soda to make it bubbly and crumbly. Sort of like the texture of rigid polystyrene foam, only delicious. If your Crunchie was more spongy than crunchie, it was probably a bit old or had been left somewhere it could start to melt a bit.
Picnic bars here in Australia are different. No raisins. It's basically wafers ecrusted with peanuts and rice crips and caramel then coated in chocolate. Very yummy.
Yes the marble is the stopper thing. From what I can tell it's less of a straight up thirst quencher and more of a toy... with bonus soft drink inside! A novelty thing. For those who like to play with their food.
Cool vid guys! You're a lot of fun on camera together.

01.03.2012 - 11:20 | HeneSome of the chocolate bars were familiar, like we have Caramel and Lion here and maybe Flake too, but I'm not sure since I've never eaten it.
I'm surprised Hello Kitty soda isn't pink. And yeah, that's stupidest bottle ever.
Strangely entertaining to watch these. I didn't even notice this was 34 minutes long, cuz it didn't feel that long.

Great food trying video, but the title it kind of makes it sound like Phalen has a weird food fetish... XP
That mixed box of candies from Europe(I guess mostly British) sound pretty good. That Mr. Big Bar that Phalen ate sounded and looked pretty good from what little you could see on screen! I like wafer candies!
As for those Japanese Green Tea flavored Dumpling things the reason they may not have been very sweet is from my experiences with foreign treats they don't tend to use a lot of sugar like most Western or English countries. If you've every been to like a Mexican food market and tried their pastries they are more butterier than sweet. I just guess we're more decadent here!
Now that bacon flavored chocolate looked really good! I know a group or dude on eBay that mostly sales bacon flavored items like those bacon and maple flavored lollipops that Brad Jones and Doug Walker tried once I think about a year or more ago! Also he's got on average bacon mayo, bacon flavored toothpicks, bacon air-freshener, and I do believe bacon bubble gum!
You gotta love with the Hello Kitty Marble Soda the unusually difficult way to open the bottle! The Japanese love their gimmicky foods! As for that marble and a none resealable lid I think that's how it keeps it from going flat the marble closes off the bottom chamber of the bottle when it's left sitting! Could be wrong though! :P
I don't know why but when I hear nougat I think of that animated short from the guy hat created Tripping the Rift!?

Bit of a Marty McFly moment there, well done for getting the top off the cola. Did you not have a bottle opener? (And do beer bottles in the US not come with that kinda top?).
A lil tidbit of information I will add though, in the UK there is quite a large distinction between sweets (or candy as you'd say), and chocolate. UK chocolate is often a little tame but it is seen as pretty good to give to children. Sweets on the other hand have a lot of sugar, e numbers, colours and suchlike in. Most parents for example would strictly ration the amount of sweets their kids would get (but less so for chocolate), not just for health reasons but so the children wouldn't be running up the walls. Would be interesting to see your take on sherbet dip dabs, fizzers, refreshers, wham bars etc.

01.03.2012 - 15:31 | Craig1981This is weird, but fun to watch.
I'm from the UK and I've recently got into ordering all sorts of American candies from an import website. I never considered that Americans might want to try the stuff we get over here.
The Crunchie bar is honeycomb by the way, not caramel.
