The dialogue in this is hilarious. Did 12 year olds write this script? It's like Assy McGee, minus the ass. And funnier (i.e.: funny at all). The Casiotone soundtrack just emphasizes the “made as a junior high project” feel. The actresses in this are clearly only doing this film so they don’t have to do pr0n.
The waiter did a failed audition for the part of Hollywood in Mannequin, didn’t he? The cameo appearance by the dog is probably the high point. Probably as the dog is a better actor than any of the humans in this film.
Funniest comment: “Get it? It’s her butt!” Classic Lupa.

I was confused at first if you were gonna review Maniac Cop because of 1: the titles are similar, and 2: it’s on your Top 30 Genre Films That Don’t Suck list. Recently, I seen “Samurai Cop” on a list of So Bad They’re Good movies.
I tried to grow a magnificent beard during my first semester of college, but it became too patchy.
I’ve already said a while ago, but I’ve heard better dubbing in a Cynthia Rothrock movie.
6:59- Anakin Skywalker at the end of Revenge of the Sith bad.
8:22- And like Vampire Cop, this film has turned into a porno, because I fail to see that there are actual nurses in the real world who ask men to f**k them.
15:57- What universe do these women think they live in.
11:22- Vote Samurai Cop, 2016.
12:20- George Takei- “Oh my.”
17:00- They forgot to add the Wilhelm Scream on one of these guys, that way they have all the action movie clichés down in this film.
18:38- If this movie was shown in wide screen, we wouldn’t see him wearing the underwear. See Film Brain’s review of “Dead Men Don’t Die” for more info.
Man, this film is bad in a really funny way. The only thing that would make it better would be if Tommy Wiesau was in it only for his long hair.
Good luck on your 100th episode, Lupa.

Wow the amount of un-acting in this movie takes it to a whole new level. I especially laughed when the main character had long, silky hair, like he just put conditioner in it. I think my mom had a similar hairstyle...in the late 60s. When was this movie made? It can't be any later than the early 90s. The only men who were known for their long hair after that were Billy Ray Cyrus and Fabio.
Also, random patriot moment in the restaurant. I haven't seen something like that in a movie since I watched Blackboard Jungle, and that's because the latter movie was made in the 50s, aka the Red Scare era in the USA (or at least the most well known one of them), otherwise known as the "if ya ain't patriotic, then you's a dirty commie who hates America and freedom" era. Kind of ironic when you think about it. Was that music already in the scene, or did you just add it in to add to the cheesiness?
I doubt there's a single b-movie that exists that doesn't automatically associate East Asians with martial arts.

11.26.2012 - 14:26 | HeneFor a movie called Samurai Cop, there's surprisingly little samurai stuff in this. That is none, unless just having couple of katanas used by amateurs counts.
But lol at that speech in the restaurant. I felt like I should salute it's glorious horribleness.
