01.30.2012 - 02:15 | Loki_5150My wife and I have been watching TGWTG for several years now, and I've never commented to anyone's videos before.
Tonight that changes.
After a long week at work, I look forward to seeing what you have in store for everyone. More often than not, I've seen the videos you review. However, tonight you caught me with a series I'm ashamed that I had never heard of before.
Now here's why I felt I had comment to this video:
Lupa, the voice you used for Radu had me in stitches. :)
Thank you.

Gah, I am shamed. You see Lupa, I too love Full Moon Entertainment. And I have seen many of their movies. I've even watched Dollman vs. The Demonic Toys, and I don't even wanna go into that. Sadly though, I have never watched the Sunspecies movies (I never got around to it). But now, thanks to your hilarious review, I'm going to search for them and catch up on this series.
From one Full Moon Ent. Fan to another, thanks!
P.S. I love your Radu accent.

01.30.2012 - 06:04 | HeneI've never heard of this either, but it certainly looked fun. Like you said, more traditional vampires. And Stefan looks like Xander at 1:40.
Loved your Radu dubs. Also, Beach Babes from Beyond xD

01.30.2012 - 06:46 | ScreamingDoomAhh, glorious Full Moon Entertainment. All hail Charles Band!
Full Moon was also known for crossing over two of their properties in increasingly random, ridiculous ways.
You might think "Dollman vs Demonic Toys" is one such crossover. But you'd be wrong!
It's actually THREE properties crossed over!
And it's just as ridiculous as you might think it is, with Stock Footage Ahoy (in fact, the majority of the movie is stock footage from the other three films) and a bad, generic plot. It was pretty clearly made just to squeeze some desperate money out of the market.
But still strangely enjoyable for the sheer hokeyness of it.
If I ever decided to make movies, I would definitely make the Full Moon Entertainment type.

01.30.2012 - 09:54 | TrencherI thought this movie was Romanian with American actors/dubbing.
I seen one of these movies long ago, they had an fun cop character or something. Great review and looking forward to the rest.

Thank you. I remember the release of Subspecies like it was yesterday. My Brother and I were devoted fans of Full Moon (especially making fun of them) and watched all their films. But Subspecies got a ridiculous amount of hype in Fangoria so we couldn't wait to see this film. Radu trying to use those wobbly fake hands in every scene was great. I just wanted to say that full moon is at it's best when Tim Thomerson or Jeff Combs are at the lead. My Personal fave being Trancers (if you want something bordering on actually good) or Castle Freak (Awesomely bad and set in the castle that makes a couple of Full Moon appearances). I must have rented Castle Freak fifty times.

Castle Vladislav? Are you kidding me? Vladislav isn't even a last name, it's a first name in most slavic and balkan countries. I got at least 3 men in my family with that name! (ok, spelled Wladyslaw, since I'm in Poland)
But seriously, to me it's as if hearing "Castle Joseph" or "Castle Michael"...
Still the movie is interesting, even thou I'm not a vampire fan.

Damn. I'd been hoping to snipe first since I saw this on blip. I assume I'm not alone in that.
This is the kind of rarity I love finding on OLP - a movie that's entertaining in the way it was planned to be. This time, instead of tearing it apart, your review managed to make it seem even better.
Just keep doing what you're doing, Lupa.

01.30.2012 - 17:09 | DuskarThis is the funniest review I think I have ever seen you do. I swear I though I was going to die from laughing everytime you did that ridiculous accent when the vampire was in the scene. Great review Lupa!
1:17- Those were the days.
3:48- Now I know where Mr. Burns gets his trap doors for his office.
5:54- New Orleans, Transylvania is not.
Radu looks like a mixture of Count Orlok from “Nosferatu,” Nick Nolte, and Tommy Wiseau.
9:09- Wow. The “day for night” guys really let themselves go.
14:33- For a vampire, Radu has poor eyesight.
16:01- Except in Stephanie Meyer’s wet dreams.
I agree that some of the effects, visuals, and make-up is pretty good for a vampire flick, but I just find it pretty weird for my taste, and like you said, the titled creatures are barely in it.
Have fun with the sequels. Fun fact: William Shatner‘s daughter Melanie star’s in the first two sequels.
