    F1rst!!!

No, seriously, loved this vid, especially all the 90s stuff. Pretty sure the cobweb room was 90s stuff, too, what with shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark and Goosebumps being so popular. That's the only explanation I can think of.

Lol, I can't believe this was a kid's movie. Just because you go out of your not to blow up people doesn't make rocket launchers and guns ok to use XP

    UNITED!!!!! (lol)

I remember loving this movie when I was younger. I watched it about a year ago, and was amazed at how much I hated it. There is only one scene from this movie that sticks in my head. It is when Patrick Stewart is using the electric razor. I have no idea why its stuck, but it is. My brain works in mysterious ways.

The hat is absolutely adorable Lupa. Keep up the great reviews :) You are one of my favourite reviewers on this site

I think the "I'm going to cook Babe for dinner" line is supposed to be a reference to the talking pig movie.

I was wondering if you were gonna put this episode on the site during Christmas time.

I've seen "Alaska," but I haven't watched "Angel."

I haven't seen "Masterminds" yet, but I can tell that the best part of this movie is Jean Luc Picard himself.

5:58- If Reb Brown WAS in this movie, all that we can hear is his loud rambling.

8:44- Just hearing this girl denying that the guys WITH GUNS is taking over the school makes me wanna ram my head through the wall.

I also enjoy the HOT TROPICAL SUN moment. Funny as hell.

I think he was shouting "UNITED!" because he's wearing that red polo shirt which looks like it's from a university.

I love how spunky you are in these videos, Lupa. Keep up the awesome work, and I hope you had a Merry Christmas.

No, it's a Manchester United shirt. That's an English football team (soccer, for you Yanks :P).
It was still a weird moment that came out of nowhere.

Thanks for the correction, MiriamG. BTW,
    UNITED! UNITED!!!
  • Cameron Winter
Actually, its a Soccer jersey, for Manchester United. He's chanting "United, United" because he's supposed to be a Manchester United fan

America is probably the only English speaking nation in the world that calls rugby football "soccer."

Oh man this is one of my secret (not any more) enjoyments. Every once-in-a-while I break this bad boy out and watch it in the dark. Alone. Where nobody can see. I can't help it... Patrick Stewart is awesomely camp.

that's like when I would watch TMNT the movie 3 alone in the dark :P

Soooo... All this talk about 90s kids, and no cameo from THE 90s Kid? :p

But all kidding aside, good review!

This episode was made before Lupa became a member of TGWTG.com.

This episode was made at least a year ago. I saw it on her Blip.TV channel after they uploaded her first video to TGWTG.

    UNITED! UNITED!

That really was bizarre... and why exactly WAS that character wearing a Manchester United top under his suit? I mean, OK it gives some hint as to why he'd randomly shout that... but... it makes no sense.

But then, neither does a classically trained actor being in this film.

    Still rather droll.

Great review as always, Lupa. But I have to say that Stewart is awesome whereas Jeremiah...um...every time he opens his mouth I tend to either mute the video or skip ahead. I'm sure he's a nice kid, but he is about as funny as reading "My Immortal" sober.

The only thing I like about this movie is Patrick Stewart....but that's it everything else sucks

Did...did Patrick Stewart just turn into Mario...Ivy league Mario at that.
  • Gweskoyen
I guess you don't watch Mad Men, Lupa. Kartheiser is in it.

Not even Patrick Stewart's awesomes could save this crappy movie.

This reminds me of a really crappy version of "Toy Soldiers". (of which i suggest everyone check out if you haven't)
  • Gothkitty92
That's the movie I was thinking of. I can never remember the name, but yeah it's like a bad combo of "Toy Soldiers" and "Hackers"
  • Trencher
    Is he a United fan?
    Great review!
  • The Last Man In Europe
Yeah, it was because he was wearing a Manchester United strip.

I don't know why he chose that moment to reassert his support for the club at that exact moment.

However his obviously not being from Manchester makes his support of Manchester United all the more accurate. Spike from Buffy also represents this trend.
  • Vendetta
Someone needs to make a gif of Patrick Steward's tropical dance ASAP.
  • USdaveUK
Great review as always Lupa! Having been an avid fan of Angel, I was under the impression that was Kartheiser's first real acting job. I don't know why, but knowing he did this before kinda makes me sad...

As for the Manchester United Football (Soccer) shirt, my guess is it is some reference to 80s/90s Hooliganism. This film came out 3 years after USA hosted the world cup so American awareness of the sport, including its negative aspects was on the rise. Obviously being British, and evil, the character would also be a football hooligan!

Saying that, Sir Patrick is on record as a Huddersfield fan (which is the largest town near to his birthplace AND where he is chancellor of the local University), so why United was chosen is anyone's guess.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays/and all that to everyone at TGWTG!

As weird as this is going to sound I Taped this movie years ago. It's somewhat entertaining but now some of the jokes and references are outdated. (Esspecially a Saddam Hussein Reference that K-Dog Makes near the end of the film.)

I think the last time I've seen such heavy artillery used with such minimal casualties was when the Terminator went for a no-kill streak when he blew up all of the police vehicles in Terminator 2. :-P

I know that, sir, but seeing as I don't watch Mad Men and it wouldn't make sense with the joke...well, his best-known roles are relative.

"I Come In Peace"...XD Oh boy, can't wait to see that review...

Hey, 'I Come In Peace' is a genuinely terrific film, it has no place among such reviews like Razor Sharpe, The Room and other stuff you've done.

Anyway, this was a really fun review and I hope you had a great Xmas!
  • Joben
Ahhh...so Patric Stewart's appearances on American Dad are not his most undignified role. Interesting.

    Really?
They're really trying to pass Patrick Stewart off as a Jordie?
