I know you'd had posted this video before, Nash, but every time I see it I keep yelling, "APES, not monkeys!" at the screen. Monkeys are the ones with tails.
The taxonomic superfamily of Hominoidea (apes), is made up of lesser and greater apes: Chimpanzees (with two living species: common chimp and bonobo), orangutans, gorillas and humans belong in the taxonomic family of Hominidae (great apes), while the next closest relatives are the Hylobatidae (gibbons) called lesser apes.

As for a monkey Catapult, I'm not to worried. I'm not seeing tehcnology of the Dark Ages as a big threat to 2010's technology.
