This movie wasn't all bad, it definitely didn't live up to the original, but not many movies can.

On a side note, Mike who cares if Film Brain reviewed Evan Almighty? In all honesty Film Brain is even less funny then a bus full of newborn babies driven by an aborted fetus over a cliff. He has about as much right to be a film reviewer as Paris Hilton has being an actress. Atleast if you reviewed the film it would actually be entertaining to watch, and not an insult to the truly talented contributors on this site.

A) it's not (by technicality) a cameo. It's a long going reference or maybe even a feature.

I have a feeling that MikeJ is England's answer to Phelous. We need more absurd humor like this on the site. Lol. THYMBOLISM = The funniest thing I've seen on this site in weeks.
As for the Jim Carreyless sequels, I'm looking forward to the next reviews, but I will say that while admittedly a bad movie, Dumb and Dumberer has at least some sort of coherent plot. Definitely nowhere near the original, but I'd say it's probably one of the better Jim Carrey sequels not featuring Jim Carrey. I also agree that Evan Almighty wasn't great, but also not as bad as...Son of the Mask. I wonder how terrible Ace Ventura Jr. was. Sounds pretty damn awful. lol. Keep up the great vids MikeJ! I'm glad you're done moving, but now I fear for your sister. lol.

This movie looked very bad news in the trailers, and your review confirmed this. This movie strives for a lower common denominator than the first movie, in which they completely miss the point of the last movie in which just because it's called "Dumb and Dumber" NOT everything has to be so Dumb. But I guess since it's "Dumberer" I guess they thought the writing should be as well.
And I humbly await your thrashing of "Son of the Mask" as I've actually watched bits of it... and wanted to bash my head against a wall.

the first one did have an explosion.
when watching lloyd drive the limo in the opening, as he talks to mary, pay attention to the stuff out the back of the window. also pay attention to noises as lloyd drive.
car skid, next shot- explosion in back
still, nice talk of this.... shameful sequel.
i love the first movie so much, i tried so hard liking this one. damn shame.
also, nice appearance by film brain.
