I was actually going to mention that transition,I love that scene every time and never get's old!.
And sure the second movie did copy the first film to an extent but I think it's how it was represented but it had a formula that worked.
The 3rd film I partially hate only because it takes itself too seriously and has some questionable scenes...
The Fourth Movie just raped the franchise all together, it was done poorly and would have only worked if the original director was at the helm and a better script. I liked the concept of the Fourth but it was presented poorly.

Well, it seems that once again, just like you did with the Back To The Future trilogy, you're doing a series of "Hang On a Second" clips that maybe, could have *possibly* just barely justified their existence if you'd done them all together in one video covering the entire series, but instead you break them up into absurdly short, pointless vids for each movie which say next to nothing and individually have barely any "Hang On A Second" moments in them at all. I realize, you theoretically have three times as many streams (or at least trickles) of income doing it this way, but you really should have a little more respect for your audience than to waste their time with three (or four, or however many movies there were) pretty much pointless videos like this.

I found that as I get older Tim Curry became my favorite part of the movie followed by the extremely deadly traps. However I also have a few hang-ups about the film.
Many people talk about the product placement in Home Alone 2 and it usually involves the Talkboy recorder. However, I think the more shameless is not the one in his pocket.
Why hasn't anyone ever brought up the INCREDIBLY shameless product placement of the Plaza Hotel? Kevin: "Plaza Hotel, New York's finest hotel experience." *smiles to the camera*
First, it gives the ACTUAL bloody toll free number (1-800-759-3000) and shows how easy it is to book a room. Second, the commercial for the Plaza Hotel is played TWICE, one on the TV and again INSIDE the lobby on his Talkboy (if the Talkboy was shaped like a Coke can then it would be a trifecta). Third, Kevin gets "one of their finest suites" and what does he do? He describes the positives of the room, but at first he sounds like a 10-yo.
Bedroom: *whispers* "Wow, a huge bed just for me!"
But then...
Bathroom: "Luxurious and spacious." What?
*Opens little refrigerator 'you have to open with a key' chock full of various sweets*: "How convenient!"
In addition it shows the pool area, the limo service, and of course one of their Penthouse suites.
Or maybe that's just me. Cheers and have a very Coca-Cola Christmas, Mike.

I definitely love the first one more, but Home Alone 2 is still a classic in its own right, namely for being a two year old copy of one of the best movies ever. It's just a shame they couldn't find someone to top his neighbor in scariness/awesomeness, especially when New York should be a treasure trove of weird folk
Also, that skeleton is awesome!

I think the first and the second are both pretty good, even though the second is basically the same as the first in almost every way. But I think the one noticeable difference between the two is how the second is tamer and less violent with the traps portion of the movie...Well, except for that one part where he drops a brick on Marv's head.

12.23.2011 - 00:59 | SayaCelineI actually enjoyed the second one more. Yeah it's a carbon copy of the first, but I haven't really met anyone who doesn't laugh out loud at it. My coworker and I quote it much more frequently than the first one. You're right in that a lot of the best lines come from the hotel staff. :)

I was almost going to post "Hang on a second, you didn't use 'Hang on a second' in this video", but then you had to ruin it for me. :(
