The instant before I saw the movie (years after the theatrical release), all I remembered were the trailers, which made the movie look awful. Those trailers were vicious lies!

I remember this came out a month before "Watchmen". I LOVE this movie! I only wished it was longer. Was too good to end so quickly. What made this even better was that I didn't like the "Watchmen" movie. So all that hype for "Watchmen" fell dead while a movie like this sneaked past it and gave audiences a great time.

2006-It was more or less direct to DVD. It was actually a pretty fun flick, even with a few bouts of questionable casting (Devon Aoki as Kasumi!?) and character derailment (Helena goes from opera singer to roller-skating college student).

"Foreign phone"? No, just a phone with a number that can be easily used internationally, and most companies have a "one charger fits all models" policy. Considering the girl's step father was rich, it's silly to presume she didn't own a mobile already. And considering the overprotective and nosy guy her real father was, it's silly to presume he didn't know the model of her phone.

Is that in America only? Because over here they all have their own accessories that will only work within the same brand if you're lucky, certainly not with other brands, and it'd be a bit dramatically convenient if he just happened to give her the same brand of phone she already has. You can get multi chargers, but they're not exactly widely available...if you were giving your daughter a mobille to keep her in contact with you, you'd give her the fucking charger as well to ensure there's no chance of it cutting out.

Also, he may be over protective, but I think memorizing the particular brand of elctronics she uses might be a bit beyond the realms of possibility.....what would that have to do with her safety? What else does he know? Brand of tampons, how often she shaves her legs??

It's obvious that what I meant was that every company usually makes all it's phone models to fit any charger manufactured by that same company.
And how is knowing what phone model your daughter owns "beyond the realms of possibility"? They're family, surely he has seen it at some point. I happen to remember which brands of phones my friends use, and I never even made an effort to memorize them (although granted most of them use Nokia and two of them Samsung, so it's not exactly tough to remember).

well i imagine her trip wasn't for very long wasn't it only a couple days or a week. I know my phone without being used and only for emergencies can last up to 10 days in lock mode so when you think about it she didn't really need a charger caz i imagine he charged it right before giving it to her
