I liked it a lot. In fact, it was THAT performance that made me like Film Brain.

I had listened to this a while back and I find the whole story behind the making of this movie fascinating.
Am I the only one that wasn't bothered by how some of the characters were OOC? This was a silly movie, the reviewers were playing character archetypes, and it shouldn't be taken THAT seriously.

Happy birthday Mathew. I'm probably one of the few people who loved your character in Kickassia. Then again I loved everything about Kickassia. I always love hearing about stuff that goes on behind the scenes.

I have liked your videos since I started watching them, just I haven't been watching them since you started making them. I haven't even seen Equilibrium, but I would agree with you that it is very 1984-ish... but I don't have a real opinion on it. Also, wasn't Bargo just going to be Bargo? That is what Doug said on the DVD anyway.

I have been on a plane probably around 20 times, but there was only one time that I traveled alone, and that was last summer (2009). It was pretty nerve-wracking to make sure I made the connecting flight and kept track of my tickets and all, but I relate to how you said when you are in a situation like that you surprise yourself with your own abilities or whatever. Cause I do depend on people a lot too, in new situations.

It's a good commentary. I think that if I were in your place, I'd feel much the same. If I ever made video reviews and by some miracle TGWTG picked me up and I met the gang in a big video like this, I'd get sooooo starstruck. You're a lucky guy, Matthew.
I'll have you know also that actualy, before Kickassia I hadn't seen any Film Brain videos. It was because of this movie that I first watched your reviews and now I'm a big fan so... there ya go. XD
One more thing - the first time I flew alone (Australia to Canada and back) I dislocated my knee in the Denver airport and it needed surgery to fix it properly, AND the airline lost my luggage twice, so... again, you had it pretty good.

Your airplane/traveling story gets me right here, FB *stabs hearts* since I flew out of the country for the first time ever, and it was my first time ever being on a plane!. It was 9 hours getting there, and I read/talked to the people next to me most the time, but we had a lot of turbulence during the flight, and the longest stretch of it happened when I had to pee.

American portion sizes can be quite large, and I've attempted to explain to my European friends that one isn't necessarily expected to finish everything on one's plate. It seems somehow foreign to them.

I started watching Mathew's reviews because of Kickassia as well, and the ummm, "charm" of his character in that was that he was so endearingly sychophantic (spelled it wrong, I think- oops!) that you want to hit him over the head with a hammer and/or run and hide in a closet. Again, this is my response to the KICKASSIA version of Film Brain- not Mathew in general.
But, regardless, happy birthday young'un! :D Have some booze and watch a 15+ rated movie or 3 that DOESN'T suck!

Its really sweet to hear how much fun you had on this shoot. It does look as if all of you had a great time even if it was a lot of work. I just hope you guys get another chance to do something like Kickassia.
