Equilibrium! I can't wait until you give that movie a new one with all its gun katas and Brave New World references...
What are you talking about? Equilibrium was awesome! ULTRA VIOLET, now THERE was a bad movie! OH yeah I watched it because I love Milla Jovovich but it was baaaaad!
Good review but you need a better cameraman. For some strange reason he couldn't keep it still.
Well, the original intention was to have it as shakycam to try and give the shows a rougher feel and seperate outselves from Nostalgia Critic. Unfortunately, it went a little bit too far. The re-shoots are partially for shots that were just a bit too Cloverfield.
Good to hear you enjoyed the review, guys. :)

Okay, you're gonna hate me, but I liked Meteor Man.
I take it you mean Pluto Nash there. That or Eddie Murphy turned into Robert Townsend when I uploaded this to blip. :)
:0 D'oh!
Sorry 'bout that. A friend of mine and I were talking about the movie, and he had it confused with Meteor Man. I corrected him, but still got it messed up when I did my comment. I feel like such a moron. Oh, well... I fixed the comment anyway. Thanks for the heads up. And I did like Pluto Nash, btw.

See. Now didn't I tell you things would all work out? I've deleted my what? 8 copies of this episode. I've seen it come so far and you've got it up.
I think I've memorized the whole ep, too. I was glad to help with the vid in any way I can. Still, this was good for the first episode. I can't wait for the next one. Thanks again for the shout-out!
Good work, FB. If you ever need help again, count me in!

So, he really is British?! Wow. For some reason, I was skeptical about his accent. To me, it sounded fake. I don't know what's wrong with me. I guess it just doesn't sound like the British accents I've heard.
By the way, CeliaKoda, if you like video games, I recommend you check out Ashens' reviews. He's also British and very funny.

04.06.2009 - 05:13 | goldmanliked the review, though your voice remind me of ashen's
anyway, 1 little thing: it was pretty long...
10 min would have been better.

Nice to see so many kind and positive comments!
10 min would have been better
There are so many things wrong with this movie, that would have been impossible.
the sex joke killed it for me
That was the part I worried about most, but it's brief enough to look over, I think. (The shot in question is only 3 seconds)

Yep, that was me. *Whoops!*
I tried to give
it an 'indie' style, but it
really backfired.
But hey, it's our first review,
so now we know.
The
next review, due late this week, is entirely tripod
based.
Still it was not very good looking
from techical point.
We are very aware of that, as you saw in my note at the top.
The review was originally filmed in 16:9. We then noticed that the frame revealed far too much of the set-up and had to be cropped. Also, some of the footage had an odd change in lighting, which had to re-processed in post-production (with limited success). There was also shakycam, which backfired, and forced some parts of the review to be re-shot (in noticably better quality).
I've already seen some of the editing work on the second episode, and it easily trumps this installment. You'll see soon enough. :)

Great Movie to start the series off, I thought your jokes were awesome!
The whole thing was really entertaining, your accent helps!
You already know how I feel about its quality, it needs improvement - big time. No more camera shakes! Everyone should make note this a prototype and the next one should blow them all away!
But other then that the actual content here was top notch!
I cant wait to see the next one - that will truly be the start of it for me! BAD MOVIE BEATDOWN HOOOOOO!!!!!!
Sweet I got a credit!
:woohoo:

Great review, Pluto Nash was just horrible.
Now as for Equilibrium, I'm sorry, I just don't see Equilibrium being a bad movie. And I'm a guy who suffered through bad movies such as Love Guru, The Beach, Catwoman, Kazaam, From Justin To Kelly, the list goes on and Equilibrium is not on that list of cinematic stinkers.
Looking forward for the next one.
