01.19.2011 - 01:37 | Moreno XI remember watching Duckman on Teletoon evenings (Canadian channel) and that is one crazy cartoon show I ever saw. I couldn't believe this show was created by the same team who made Rugrats - I guess they couldn't get away in a show about babies. But with Duckman, that's a different story and it was freakin' funny.
Everytime I hear Jason Alexander's voice, I could not imagine if this is the kind of life George Costanza wanted if he were not the type of person he was on Senfied but a different type of a Costanza person on Duckman. Comparison? It's hard to believe that way I say.

A friend of mine gave me all the episodes on a burned dvd a few years back. Then, when it was actually released on DVD, I jumped all over it. Damn, I love Duckman.
Plus, Tim Curry as King Chicken? Hell yeah. I really wish there was at least one more episode after the cliffhanger series ending though.

I was a Duckman fan since i was 14 watching it on USA channel in Bolivia. Of course back then I watched one of the spanish dubbed version that added more swearing. To watch it in the original version. Jason Alexander's voice is just great to hear.
By the way I hope you'll aslo make a top 11 of duckman's speeches they just kill me.

I love the hell out of Duckman, even when I was too young to know why my mom completely forbade me from watching it as a kindergartener.
And I just now noticed that Aqua Teen Hunger force has a similar set up to Duckman. You have a perfect guy (Cornfed=Frylock), a stupid jackass (Duckman=Master Shake), and a stupid person/s that get hurt by the jackass (Fluffy/Uranus = Meatwad). And the Aqua Teen guys were also detectives in the first season.
I always imagined Urasus and Fluffy's vegan/pacifist/nice attitude as a direct contrast to Duckman's evil nature.

I remember this show.
Sadly, It wasn't in my era. I was only 4 years old when it aired and 8 years old when it re-aired. And I was a pretty pussy little girl (i grew out of that at 17 finally) but One clip of the show of Fluffy and Uranus being mangled scared me, but now looking into my subconscious, I think this show would be more like my style of humor. It looks like it deserves another try from me because the age I am now, I think I'll enjoy it.
