WOW! Someone actually remembers this short besides me. That and that summer of cartoons thing which was done 3 times. That's how Megas XLR, Billy and Mandy or Grim & Evil, and Kids Next Door Started out.
Looking back on this short, yeah, that part where they burn that germ alive scarred my fragile little mind back then.

09.04.2010 - 23:32 | CaptainAndy27Didn't Codename Kids Next Door get made into a series from a short like Megas XLR (which by the way is an amazing show.)

Holy shit! I loved Cartoon Network's Summerfest me and my friends watched the marathon at his house that weekend and thought the cartoons were all pretty interesting and I've been trying to remember all the titles that they premiered. I know my one of favorites was Private Eye Princess, I loved the voice actress they had for her, too bad I can't find the clip. In fact, I have a hard time finding a bunch of the clips and names of the shows. It's bizarre. But man back then Cartoon Network was really creative and took some cool chances and did a lot to entertain kids these days they still have some fun cartoons but they could use to ditch CN Real.

Funny as always CR. I am curious, does Cartoon Network still do Summerfest to find new talent? It seems like it would be a pretty cool way to get some new ideas out there and see the stars of the future!
The short itself...meh. I working out cleaning horrors every episode would be kind of hard. It would be like Santa with Muscles. The premise would wear thin after a while. But as a one-shot, it's pretty cute. And I am curious about the hysterical girl and what cleaning product she's supposed to be.

09.05.2010 - 07:18 | ninjaboyz101Again CR, you have given me the name of a series that I've been trying to remember the name of for quite some time by complete accident, I could not for the life of me remember the name Megas XLR

I loved the Venture Brothers clip. I almost never see or hear anyone reference that show. I'm so glad to see a little recognition.
Now for something completely different. Are you ever going to make a FF about Hey Arnold? You alluded to it in another video and I've been dying to see it ever since.
Thanks for the great videos

My god, DiMaggio played freaking everyone in this short. Not there's anything wrong with that.
What's weird is, I remember the Megas pilot and Long Hair and Double Dome, but mot this. Still, funny as it was, I'm glad Lowbrow eventually became Megas. No lie, that's probably my favorite cartoon to ever come out of Carton Network. Nowhere else could you see Bruce Campbell as a MODOK parody piloting a mech with a chainsaw for a hand to fight alongside a mechanical Mr. T.

09.05.2010 - 13:11 | ArtherWhy would they have a night light in the bathroom? Plug socket seems a bit daft to have in a bathroom as well.
Nice vid, looked up the whole thing on youtube as well so thanks for that. ^_^

But I'm glad to see it now. Might have been a fun series, though I'm ultimately glad they went with Megas XLR. What can I say, giant robots FTW. Keep up the good work CR. Perhaps for a lark you could explore the various dubs of Sailor Moon? Or maybe how Toonami was in the old days with Moltar at the helm? What can I say, I miss the old CN, especially Toonami in it's glory days.

It's a Plug-In air freshener, and outlets are also used to plug in electric toothbrushes, shavers, hair dryers, etc.
