-
08.17.2010 - 22:19 | Pye Like EyeI find your theory amusing. But, I'm ultimately still going to have to stick with my own, that Insano's origins keep changing because Linkara punched reality.
Still, an amusing video, and interesting thoughts.

08.21.2010 - 23:14 | Pye Like Eye...Of course it is.
I'm just saying that this is my theory for making sense of it without really giving the negative continuity any more thought than is really necessary.

No one could possibly comprehend that amount of SCIENCE Reaver. It would be equivalent to dividing by zero ...
TWICE o_O
Nice video CR! I never would have expected a Familiar Faces about Dr. Insano, but I'm glad you did it. It was very entertaining and you did a rather good job of explaining the mystery of Insano, considering how the backstory goes.

08.17.2010 - 22:35 | Ban2300Wait a second... What about the whole Shlumper Bros. origin story thing (from the PartyMania review)? Where does that fit in?

I have a theory, so excuse me while I drop some psychological SCIENCE on ya'll.
What if Dr Insano, being the stereotypical mad scientist, is actually a psychological archetype of the Carl Jung variety? This would mean that deep down within the psyche of every human mind, there exists a Dr. Insano. Spoony, with his own love of science and the way he deals with stress and his own localized insanity, is just more prone to allowing that psychological figure take control of the rest of him...and Insano likes it. In that regard, Dr. Insano isn't so much a split personality, but an entity in and of himself, possessing and taking over Spoony...as well as others.
During Schlumper Bros. incident (and several other times in various reviews, as I've noticed) everyone somehow tapped into their own Dr Insano complex, creating the multiple versions personified by other TGWTG staples. So while Schlumper might have happened in an alternate universe, it's still possible to have happened in ours.
There's a little Dr. Insano in all of us. 8~)
-
08.17.2010 - 22:55 | johnkenpwnsPerhaps THAT Dr. Insano was killed sometime before Linksano (apparently the other Shlumper?) escaped that dimension during Vyce's invasion?
And what about the other Insano variants featured in the second Warrior review?
I personally believe that, true to the source, "there is no continuity; there is only Insano".
As such, anyone who even attempts the task of uncovering Insano's origins will only create yet another version of him/her/it.
For that reason alone, it is highly advised that no one, especially the weak-willed, should ever attempt to explain the mystery that is Dr. Insano.
Then again, much like the opening night of "Vampire Sucks", people will ignore this advice and continue to fall right into these obvious traps.
Oh, well. It was worth a shot.

08.17.2010 - 22:51 | Ban2300Also, Who gets custody over Son of Insano, Time-Warp Insano, Spoony clone B: Insano, or the most recent split personality Insano from Spoony clone A: Spoony? Or does Spoony and all the Insano incarnations (and the Spoony Bum) share joint custody over the kid due to Son of Insano being made of Evil Jelly and Spoony Spooge (from the one before the FF I review)?

-
08.17.2010 - 23:07 | Ban2300And then why would Linkara go through the trouble of "Re-cloning" his ARCH-NEMESIS? Would he have been really THAT desperate for advertising?
-
08.18.2010 - 02:22 | PLAAn accident? We are talking about MAD SCIENCE, after all. Of course it won't go as planned.
