You're either older than me by a decade or younger, because i don't remember those cartoons on Sesame Street, and i was born in 1980. Since we had our own Canadian version of Sesame Street (a few segments were in french, but all other characters and interactions were taken from the American version) maybe it just didn't feature her work here.
But i must check out that short, and her youtube - when i get some more weed, haha.

LimeGreenSquid: That's weird. I mean, I was born in 1981 and I recall seeing a few of those mentioned on Sesame Street. I too am from Canada. However, I think I saw the show on both CBC and PBS, so it might have been on the PBS broadcasts.
Actually, I think I know now. her shorts were made for Sesame Street between 1989 and 2000 but still air, so I probably happened upon them when either my brothers watched the show or my own kids.

I remember the Don't Go Into The Basement song. I used to watch this show called Liquid Television on MTV. They would show short cartoons and stuff. I didn't know it was from a short film.

Don't go in the basement sounds so much like the shadow man's song from The Princess and the Frog "I've got friends on the other side". And that song was the transformation number as well. But what an odd piece of animation. I was raised on the 90's sesamie street and I dont remember any of these sketches at all. But good vid as always CR. Your show is awesome.

OH GOD. This is the person responsible for those incredibly disturbing cartoons in the Twilight Zone movie? That was the scariest part of the whole damn movie, I still can't watch them without becoming deeply disturbed, and I can't watch this without being reminded of them.
