03.20.2010 - 12:37 | RedRedSo you would rather they make a children's movie with a womanizing malcontent Zeus, a vengeful and spiteful Hera, and an always naked Hercules (or Heracles as it should be) who sleeps with his nephew? Seriously think about that for a moment. It wasn't accurate but neither are any of Disney's other movies, Sleeping Beauty didn't die, Pocahontas wasn't 10ish and Quasimodo didn't commit suicide for example. Its not ruining its just a different version like Bella Venezia, Myrsina, Nourie Hadig, The Young Slave and Gold-Tree and Silver-Tree or Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
I also hate that Hercules Disney mess, it pissed on so much Greek Mythology by misrepresenting each character: Hades is evil, Hera is good and Zeus is noble. Disney did that so they could make it kid tested and mom approved.
I actually have to disagree. While they did have to reduce the characters to stock stereotypes of good and evil, they still imbued them with unique personalities so that they didn't come off as one-dimensional. Hell, I still think James Woods' wisecracking Hades is one of the best characters to ever appear in an animated film, and one of the greatest in Disney history.
you kind of wore the hercules joke pretty thin. the first 3 or 4 funny, 5-8, uh done yet, 9-10 really, still doing this?, 11-12, WTF?
It's CR's own take on the Overly Long Gag. As defined by TVTropes, "The concept is that something happens repeatedly, to the point of boredom. Then it keeps going, to the point where it, in theory, actually becomes funny again. Essentially, the sheer length of the gag becomes the gag."

For some reason I've always called her Mama Klump. Keep up the good work man. I love what you do... Hey why not expand on Oz from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or the cabbage guy from Avatar the Last Air Bender, or Sarah from The Maxx (who kind of reminds me or Daria) oh speaking of which Up Chuck or one of the other two fashion club girls from Daria? Well I hope you use some of my ideas in the future, if not, I understand that you get a lot of requests and want to maintain the integrity of your art.
