I could NEVER forget Sam and Max. Sadly, I haven't been able to get a hold of their original comics, but I actually did catch it on its first airing, then watched it again whenever I could catch it.
Then I was hooked on Sam and Max Hit the Road once I discovered the many amazing adventure games I had missed, and I'm currently addicted to the new game series. They're iconic characters that really do deserve more respect.
Not only are they one of the few licenses to withstand the usually murderous step from comics to games, but they even managed to hop from games to cartoons and STILL keep their wit and snarky writing intact. Good stuff. And you're giving the Geek an episode? Because she does deserve it, no one remembers her.

11.21.2009 - 23:30 | theADHDkidI only discovered Sam & Max when the Telltale games started coming out. It's sad to think of all that I missed out on. Now I have to ad this show to that list.

11.22.2009 - 03:03 | SignNinjaAh, Sam and Max, without this show I would never have hunted down the PC games to understand all the hype of the greatness. Plus, they're awesome in the new adventures, although I have to play them on Xbox, I'm not picky!

11.22.2009 - 06:33 | GhostofBuddyHollyYou are aware of the comic, right? In my opinion, the S&M cartoon show ruined the spirit of its comic original. The comic had deeper humor, more obscure references, way more anarchic nature, and it was more violent. I don't dislike the show, but S&M is such an aburdly awsome franchise, it also ventured into video games, and neither the comic or the game was aimed at kids like the cartoon.

I've never seen the show but the games seem pretty fun and I've been meaning to play them for a long time. I couldn't play the demos with a decent frame rate on my old computer, which threw me a little off at first, but I guess now I could try them again. Btw, is it possible to get this show anywhere?
