To be fair, this game does look pretty interesting with a few cool ideas like the three time zones, but yeah, it does seem kinda tedious to play through. I'd probably just house-rule that only one of the card's stats need to be brought down to zero to destroy it, but the episode cards look pretty game-breaking regardless.

And why do I get the feeling that "Mr. John Smith" is going to become CR's arch-nemesis?

Are you aware that there is a new doctor who card game? It might just be an England thing but for the last couple of years it has been on sale here, it is aimed at younger audiences and the doctor who magazine has done a few drives to help launch it, free cards, a collectors case etc. If I had any I would be happy to send them to you but I never really took any interest. While I like the show I don't really want a card game about it.

You should review Babylon 5 CCG. Its CCG that requires more than 2 players becouse of its voting mechanic that determines success of conflict cards.

DONT FORGET ABOUT GUNDAM, IT COUNTS AND IS JUST AS DIVERSE

The case probably was that they gave the game little to no play testing. Or maybe just assumed that everyone would build their decks with the knowledge that only the creators had.

John Smith ruins everything. And lies. Then gets portrayed as a golden haired Adonis in a Disney movie.

Great episode. I love watching Cheap damage, one of my favorite shows on the site.

I'd love to see you do an episode for Yugioh, I know its one of the better card games but it have a huge nostalgia factor and you can make fun of its convoluted and downright stupid rules.

A brit sends you objects of torture in envelopes that are bigger on the inside...

I think you may be talking to a certain other Time Lord.

Ah yes, the Star Trek CCG, the game where you fought the rules not the other players. Hopefully this will lead to a review of the Star Trek The Original Series ccg, one of the oddest games I've ever played (http:// boardgamegeek.com/ boardgame/2190/star-trek- ccg)

Love the series so far. Can't wait for more episodes.

The only card game I've ever learned to play was MTG and it's pretty easy and the art is beautiful! This one i'd have to pass it looks too complicated for me!

Very entertaining review as always CR! And for my two cents, I think Linkara is "John Smith". I don't know why, and I could be wrong, but it's this gut feeling I have.

    Star trek? Agh. Having flashbacks.

This game actually looks kind of cool, but it's overly complicated and the cards aren't very good to look at.

Regarding Cheap Damage, how do you choose which games to pick up and play? More specifically, do you have any plans to review games that you expect to actually BE good games, rather than be pleasantly surprised by? I'm wondering what your current favorites are and what types of games you're looking forward to. I just got into card games when I started playing puzzle strike and yomi on fantasystrike.com, and I'm wondering what someone who's been playing for a while would consider the "best" games. Hope to hear back from you, and thanks again for making such great and fun videos!

If they made a Doctor Who card set based on the new series (and had actual original artwork) then I'd but it just for the sake of owning it. (The very same reason I bought "Nerd Fight")
