I've seen a few "openings" in Nevada; all teenaged goth girls dressed as Snape, a bunch of adults, & no children anywhere.

After reading Harry Potter, I thinks it's too depressing for children. Not as morbid & tragic as Lemmony Snicket's though (everyone dies in that series & it has 26 times as much child abuse).

That little gathering is nothing. If you want a real scare, go to an anime, comic book, or video game convention. You haven't seen true horror until you've been bombarded by Naruto Cosplayers reciting lines from a poorly dubbed cartoon.

Americans are proud of standing in line? Pffft, not as much as the Brits. Those over UK yonder have 'queuing' as they call it down to a damn ART FORM I'll have you know! They actually have 'queue critics' assess each person for stance, amount of time they're willing to spend waiting, fidget ratios, conversational output AND tactics for getting to the front. It's as much a contest in trying to win the approval of those waiting with you as it actually getting to what you were waiting for!
