    this XD
  • Hyooz
I need a .gif of you getting punched in the face. Post haste.

Eye of the Tiger morning sequence was pretty epic too.
  • GuyWhoIsAnonymous
I thought Cool Runnings was good. it was a true story, BTW
  • BabyImplosion
ive always wanted to see a movie where the jerks that picks on kids always win.
thanks for the review, was great, as usual 8)

    *clap*....*clap*....*clap*....*clap*...*clap*..*clap*.*clap**clap**clap*clap*cla
    p*clap*clap*clap*

Bravo!! I'd also add Major League to the list but that's a GOOD movie.

    And GO CUBBIES!
  • ThatFellowInTheCoat
    Hilarious as always, Nostalgia Critic.

The montage set to "Eye of the Tiger" had me especially crying with
laughter. When I saw the Cheerio's box, I had a feeling you would make a
callback to Cheerios 2. And you did! And I laughed even harder.
  • GrantM
    Awesome!
  • Film Brain
I remember watching Rookie of the Yearas a kid. I don't remember much of it, apart from the fact that it was directed
by Daniel "Marv from Home Alone" Stern. How interesting is that? I'm surprised he could direct with all
those bricks and irons to the forehead.

One film I'm surprised you missed is Ed, which features Matt Le Blanc moving up the baseball ranks... with a monkey.
I'm dead serious. Also, in the memorable quotes section, Le Blanc actually says,
"I am going to spank that monkey!" Speechless.

God I hate it when one person starts to clap and then turns into a roaring
    applause! Great work!!!

Oh, and was the guy who punched him in the face his brother?
  • Maphisto86
I knew it! God is the Nostalgia Critic!
And he wears a digital watch!
  • evagirl77
YES! A new one! Frankly, I thought sport films were dumb. I only ever liked the
Little Giants and the Sandlot. AND THE SLOW CLAP NEVER WORKS IN REAL LIFE! Trust
    me, I tried.
  • Kiwi-san
rofl, the montage from eye of the tiger was hilarious! ;D
  • qwertyblue64
I totally agree. The only exceptionally good children's sport movie I've seen
was The Sandlot, that is, the original, not the sequels. Mighty Ducks was
mediocre, Air Bud was lame, Angels in the Outfield was lame, and I have yet to
see The Karate Kid, Cool Runnings, and Little Giants. But The Sandlot was
    awesome, an instant classic.
  • Mattato
The Cheerios 2 reference was awesome. Oh God, is the disembodied voice back to
    kick his ass again?

That said, the only sports movie I ever liked was Remember the Titans, and that
wasn't even really about sports so much as it was racial relations.
  • nafeasonto
"This question has been plaguing me for the last 5 minutes, and I can't take
    it anymore." -Classic
  • Yoda
I was rofling at the NOT! part. Awesome job!
  • Curiosity Inc
This one had some great jokes. The Cheerios in-joke, for example, was quite
welcome and that one about the Cubs was priceless.

It's great to see that you're shaking up the format a bit. It's not like any of
your other reviews and it's definitely not like any of your Top 11 lists, but
it's still very much a NC production.

So why is it, when you're doing so many things differently, that you keep
starting your reviews with "You know..."? That really bugs me. Space Jam
started that way, the Theme Song countdown started that way... it just seems
like such a terrible segue into the routine proper.

That said, I think you did a great job of reviewing several movies that were
only linked by genre. You should take this approach to a series of movies. Might
    I suggest the Muppets?
  • Markus
Good work as usual, man. Very entertaining. The part about the slow clap was
    ingenious.
  • pinkechidna
Hmmm...I've never thought any sports movies were good. But that may be due to
    my accursed lady parts!
  • Joker
Great job again NC. Perfect. I don't know what I'd do on a daily basis without
    your videos.
  • AndHereWeGo!
Loved the Cheerios 2 reference !!!
  • Jakobi
LMAO!!! We own peeing while standing!!!
  • Spectere
You had me at the That Guy montage. :P

    Awesome stuff as always.
  • danzig
What ISup with that Christopher Lloyd angel?! I remember even as a kid i was confused
about that. I was like "what the heck is doc doin as an angel"?! Good
    review.
  • Jackalsblood
