Man, I remember seeing this as a kid. Huge disappointment how little time was actually spent on the games. I really don't get why they're so upset that the final competition is a new game; it's not like Lucas or the glasses chick have played it before either. Are Jimmy's skills based entirely on playing the games so much that he's just memorized them?

I loved this movie! I watched it every day as a kid on cassette (ok, almost every day). But basically, yeah, it was bad... You did scare the crap out of me at the end, I really thought that the AVGN was Jimmy... O.O

I've only saw this movie once, and I think I was eleven at the time. Even at an age like eleven I could tell when I was watching a messed up, piece of shit of a movie. It was just so awkward and annoying to even look at.

That was funny review but really when I saw this I was like damn "what games were they playing", the whole damn movie was boring except the game tournement which freaking rocked!

Another little tidbit: during the scene where the girl marvels that Jimmy's played Ninja Gaiden for so long without getting hit, you can see that he actually has been: two life bars are missing.

I dunno, since it's Ninja Gaiden, they were probably marvelling at how far he had gotten without having died and starting over again

That was probably one of his best reviews to date. Seriously. All the comedy and use of clips and music made this so hilarious to watch.

Oh my lord this video was fucking hilarious I laughed myself to tears looking at it, Nostalgia critic it appears that you surpassed all your videos I have no idea of how your going to top this but this was really brilliant from start to finish. good stuff man!

Ah, I remember this classic movie quite well. We used to sit around the TV and munch on popcorn, hoping to catch a fleeting glimpse of SECRET GAMING HINTS in the movie - and by Gum, there were plenty.
It's really quite impressive what a great advertisement this movie was - it was like a fine wine, mixed liberally with delicious (and nutritious) mud.

This has the best ending I've ever seen in a video.

Oh man, I remember seeing it on TV when I was younger. It sucked then, it sucks even more now. Seriously - if a 12 yo kid (me) is laughing his pants off during the scene where they're playing Super Mario Bros 3, because he thinks it's totally dumb, how could I react as an adult? Facepalm, laugh and despair. And what the hell is Cauwlifornia?
