I dont think that realy was a "video game review". Sure you were talking about a video game, but you talk more about the diolog and charecters than the gameplay itself.

Those have to be some of the worst translations I've ever seen. But as far as top-down shooters go, it looks pretty cool.

This one is my new favourite video of yours. The acting was much better (Probably because you didn't need to force yourself to sound angry) and the information you presented was top-notch as usual. The change of scene also worked in your favour here. Being closer to the camera let's us see your face and expression clearer while not making us wonder why your hands aren't being used to emote. You also set up the in game footage very well, the voice levels matched almost perfectly.

I personally don't mind if a game has no real story as long as the gameplay is compelling.Geometry Wars 2 is a great example of this.

The voice actors reading word for word off the script reminds me of Ron Burgandy.

That's really interesting. Those are the worst North American release descisions I've seen since Super Mario Bros 2. Though they do seem pretty similar to the Touhou games. Anyways, great work Marz, I can't wait till the next live stream.

Ahh, horrible translations. I've had that problem ALOT, expecailly with manga. Like Tokyo Mew Mew. Ugh, so many engrish mistakes...

Alfa System? They published Tales of the World, which is decent in my oppinion. I've NEVER heard of 'XS' games before, though. I'd like to get Shikigami III, if it was released here in the UK, that is. The comedy seems amazing I feel so sorry for the Ninja and Butler's VA's. However, making fun of yaoi = a-okay!

Seriously though, top notch show you've put together here. This is the most natural you've sounded in one of your videos yet. Either you're getting better at your script writing or getting more comfortable in front of the camera, I can't decide which, but either way it's great to see that your presentation is finally catching up to your content.

Keep it up; every video you've posted so far has been better than the last, and I've got a feeling the best is yet to come.

I saw a youtube video for one those games, the difficulty is insane the amount of shit being fired at you. Interesting how the games got messed up by poor company really.

The game play of Castle Shikigami 2 had a disturbing similarity to Ikaruga. I actually thought that was what it was at first.

Wow, what were they doing when they were told to translate? Smoking crack up their butts?

You think they actually studied or read the actual game in itself before they made it? Sure some games have similar gameplay but they're not all related, it's not like you say Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is actually Rayman 4 because they have a similar way in games (throwing stuff like fists or boomerangs at things).

And I'm sure you're acting's not that bad, I challenge you to a bad act-off with my friend Tony. NOW HE'S THE WORST ACTOR IN THE UNIVERSE.

Wow that was some terrible translation! I wish there was more mocking of bad translations, they always amuse me.

Also I agree that bringing the camera closer to yourself was a good move. And I didn't see anything wrong with your acting in this! (in reference to the "nothing sucks as much as my acting" bit) You seemed much more natural. Maybe you're finding your own style :)

The acting joke had me bursting at the seams.
