I'd say Calvin and Hobbes is definitely literature, and great literature at that. The Dictionary defines literature as:
1. writings in which expression and form, in connection with ideas of permanent and universal interest, are characteristic or essential features, as poetry, novels, history, biography, and essays.
2. the entire body of writings of a specific language, period, people, etc.: the literature of England.
3. the writings dealing with a particular subject: the literature of ornithology.
4. the profession of a writer or author.
5. literary work or production.
6. any kind of printed material, as circulars, leaflets, or handbills: literature describing company products.
7. Archaic. polite learning; literary culture; appreciation of letters and books.I'd say Calvin and Hobbes falls under at least categories 1,4,5,6 and perhaps even 7 though it isn't archaic yet.

"I wish more women acted like that..."
I was actually wondering where that line came from. It didn't seem like typical Linkara humor.
It's really cool seeing the creative process at work. It always amazes me how well Doug can ignore the camera and continue to be charming, even when he's not acting. At any rate, awesome review, and I love these behind-the-scenes stuff.

Saw this on Linkara's site. However, this is still a really good behind the scenes footage. I thought this was going to be in the premium section. Ah well. Good stuff guys and I'm glad Doug got better later.
Great to see writing sessions! I love Calvin and Hobbes, too. I have all the books but not the collection. That and The Far Side are awesome comics I wish they'd make now for the funnies.

I love behind the scene footage. It's always great to see how you guys do the stuff you do; how you just sit around, tossing ideas back and forth that may or may not make it into the final version.
Thank you very much for that!
