Hi Linkara,
I've really enjoyed watching your playthrough of Voyager: Elite Force! Its brought back some great memories, as I used to play this game all the time when it first came out, and I am a huge Star Trek fan so I really appreciated the gameplay mechanics of walking around the ship (even if it might seem tedious to non fans heh).
I do have to point out, that Constitution class ship does get remarked upon in the game, however its a bit of an easter egg. Right at the beginning, just after the cut scene where Voyager is trapped in the starship graveyard, if you wait around on the bridge and listen to their conversation, Harry Kim makes the remark "I'm picking up what appears to be the remanant of a Constitution class vessel." and then someone else I think says "Constitution class? Well thats very odd. Keep scanning." or something like that.
Of course, if you've played the game before, you'll know that there's another twist to that particular ship as well...

Should of used the Kcamalot song from Monty Pyton tho. XD

"Camelot! (It's a hologram)"

I think the Constitution class starship was taken from the mirror universe? Also in Chakotay's dialog, they used the contraction "it's" when they should have used the possessive form "its." I love pointing out grammar mistakes. ;)
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite series, Linkara; oops, I'm sorry,Sir Linkara. Are you planning on doing a review on the comic book that Wildstorm did on this game?

I'm surprised the voyager crew have survived in the delta quadrant this long if they can't open doors or learn how to shoot straight...
Ahh well looks like Linkara will have to save the day....again...

I'd disagree about Munro being a knight, though. If he was a knight, then the other crew would have to say something other than "go away" to him outside cutscenes, and "you suck" during cutscenes.
Though, yeah, who saves the ship when he's off duty?

...
Apologies to Minnesotans everywhere.
I haven't seen Camelot. I should.
Also, your dying holocrossbowman voice reminds me of that "Let me borrow that top" video on YouTube.
Very nice singing, Linkara.

Has anyone else notice that the voice for Monroe sounds just like the voice for Bruce Wayne/ Batman for the "The Batman" cartoon that use to be on the WB Saturday mornings?
Oh come on, Nelix is awesome in the show. Give him a little slack.
He's an uppety hedgehog with delusions of grandeur, a man who's first action as the ship's "morale officer" was to violently attack Tom Paris while screaming "I'LL KILL YOU!!!".
A foolish control freak misogynist racist annoying pointless dweeb who Janeway would've probably ejected into space just to watch him die if he weren't such an excellent tormentor of her crew.

07.04.2009 - 06:00 | alexanderthegreatLinkara singing is hilarious and delightful in equal measure, and should be a regular feature in the subsequent videos.
I was personally humming "Knights of the Round Table" during my playing of Elite Force, but Camelot's so much more whimsical and contrasting to the energy-bolt-shooting Medieval crossbowmen. Monty Python references can be a bit tiresome if overdone.
The Connie thing is especially jarring when you think of how little you actually see one in the TNG milieu, and how freaking Birds of Prey are EVERYWHERE. In fact, I think the only times we see a classic Connie apart from the original series are in "Trials and Tribble-ations" and "In A Mirror, Darkly". The player was bound to notice it, so surely it should've been commented on a lot more?

07.04.2009 - 22:24 | MattTheParanoidKat - WonderfulSurely is a delight seeing you play this game... However, am I the only one who notices that Munro's rank? Seems every one in the games does, yet they give him, an Ensign the big role to save the god damn Voyager... Janeway... what the flying shit is she doing as a captian when she gives such a task to one lowly-ranked officer... oh, and he's a redshirt. This can not end well.
i thought that hedgehog was
naked
