Er, I mean, it was predetermined all this time...?

    >wait 50 years to get your next comic
I guess us Berserk and HiatusxHiatus fans are mad then, huh?

Happy to see you talk about the issue from Teen Titans. That was the only version I really followed. A single issue was hard to find in that title even in those days, this one was a rarity. I am sorry to say I missed that issue, so will check it out if I ever get the chance. I know it's late for suggestions, but have you seen the Action Comics Annual #1 from 86 or 87 that had Superman and Batman fighting vampires? It was actually a really spooky one. This series has been lots of fun!

    Got to love Discowing.

To be honest I would think there would be alot of story material dealing with Raven involving horror/thriller themes, but its good to see that they will break away from that possiblity. As for Monstermen, I'll give it a read if the chance comes.
    More LOTD.. MUWAHAHAHA!

As cool as Monstermen sounds, Benedict definitely looks like a rip off of french comic book villain Monsieur Choc: http:// www.coolfrenchcomics.com/ choc.htm

Dick Grayson, Age 19 = AWESOME joke lol

And yes... why DON'T we see stories taking place in single issues anymore? Sure, cliffhangers are fine, and pacing like that of the golden and silver ages is too fast, but I shouldn't have to get through an entire YEAR just to read ONE STORY.

Where do you get the music for this show, Lewis? I must have it for my OWN collection! :D

Why Sir Lovhaug i dare say i am enjoying this series quite heartily. Not only are you educating me on the world of spooky and scary comics, you are also entertaining me greatly with the Moarte. It saddens me to believe that he may only exist within this special type of episodes. If you do you plan on including him in your other shows, mainly AT4W, i would be greatly appreciative to know this information.

The only thing scary about TT is how much sexually promiscous Starfire is...

The Monstermen stories seem very heavily influenced by the works of Algernon Blackwood (particularly the John Silence short stories). Shame you didn't cover the other stories in that issue based off William Hope Hodson, a woefully forgotten early 20th century horror/science fiction writer.

Erm, no she isn't. In the New Teen Titans, we only saw her actually naked in bed with Dick Grayson.

She WAS in a relationship with one other guy who turned out to be a HIVE Agent, but I can't recall if we ever knew if she ever slept with him.

And why is a character being promiscuous scary?

NTT #12: A nice little story there. If that was today, it would last at least 6/7 issues and everyone would be bored with it after the 2nd issue.

Monstermen: Sound like a mash-up of James Bond, HP Lovecraft and Batman... I'm intrigued.

And what's that tune? My ears liked it. Sounded a bit RV Williamsesque. (slightly)

Nice! I saw a monster men comic many years ago but it was only one magazine and living where I live its difficult to get an overview if series is going to last. And now it got a collected edition. Very nice, I ordered it now.

Wow, I actually don't think I have that issue of The New Teen Titans. I would have remembered the cover. Still, it's a nice story, and the cover's pretty (I just really like the photo of Dick and Starfire). The Monstermen stories seemed really interesting. I like the artwork and how it was in black and white. It really added to the tone. And it was genuinely creppy when Moarte mentioned the skulls talking.

This is pretty random but I noticed that both stories had rats in the background or foreground. I guess rats really do frame horror settings well, eh?

Both sound pretty good. That Benedict character is interesting, though. I'm surprised they haven't made a series or movie out of that.

And what was the reason for Moarte to laugh at the last thing he said at the end of the MonsterMen review?
