I love the Infinity Gauntlet because it was the basis of the Marvel Superheroes arcade game. Now it Marvel stopped making crap like killing off Wasp, ruining SpiderMan's marriage and introducing the Red Hulk I would gladly return to reading their comics again.
How many parts of Marvel Zombies are there? 4? 5?

Try and honestly tell me that Thanos isn't a ripoff of Darkseid. Besides their very similar apperances, Thanos is also an incredibly powerful Titan of a villian who is after some legendary item (anti-life equation) that will allow him to kill all life in the universe (control all life in the universe).

You know....it sorta makes sense death being a woman...
Although you have to give the guy kudos, he was planning to wipe out zillions of lives just to win the affections of a woman that kills people for a living...a match made in hell.
You know Linkara, I would love to see your take in The Dark Knight strikes again or perhaps Long Halloween in five panels. Because lets face it, one is made of awesome, and the other is just very trippy....Who knew brianiac looked like a giant frog?

I liked how this one didn't have a narration over each panel, and looked more of a "montage" up until the last panel. (Which was hilarious.)
I know Sandman had Death as a female entity, but I didn't know Marvel also did the same. (Despite Marvel still making her look like the Grim Reaper, which makes those first few panels all the more hilarious.)
Pointless side note: The name of my warlock's voidwalker in WoW is "Thannos". Which I always thought was pretty awesome.
Wasn't there a video game about this. Where you collect the stones and get super powers...ur...more superpowers.
Yup. It was called "War For the Gems" or something to that effect. The
storyline though was good. Infinity War and Infinity Crusade were great. The
others? Hmm....Not so much. I wasn't a fan of Infinity Abyss.
What is this bizarre infatuation with comics and having some form of the words "Infinite" and/or "Crisis?" in the title?
It's all about making things epic. That's one of the rules to making a grand storyline. Titles have to be epic and draw people in with their adjectives or just one word like "Onslaught" or just something mysterious like "Secret Wars".

Different gems, different effects
Time-speed up
Space-superarmor [no flinching when hit]
Reality-cheap projectile support
Mind-AutoEnergy Special gain
Soul-Healing Factor
Power-Attack up
Some of the characters had special effects like
Power+Spidey=Double spidermans between opponent
Super Armor+Juggernaut or Magneto=Enhanced Super armor silver flashing juggs /magnetic barrier for magneto
Reality+Psylocke=Kage Bushin No Jutsu!
Reality+Black Heart= Invisible
All the gems were Thanos' Super Specials in the last fight
It was the sequel to Xmen COTA, and all the characters from those series eventually made it through to the Marvel Vs. Capcom series, some kept the infinity gems abilities [or some variation] in later games like:
Wolverine's speed up
Jugg's Power up and SuperArmor
and Magneto's force field

I love those CI5P Videos. I'm not a big comic book reader myself, though and most of the times I don't know all the characters (aside from the ones who've been in movies) but I'm interessted in to become one. Which is a good comic to start with that?
on a side note:
Did anybody already do the "till death do us part"-Joke?
If not, I call dips!
Did they use those Gems in a fighting game?
Yup. Marvel Superheroes War of the Gems

http://en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/War_of_the_Gems[/ url]
It was loosely based on the storyline. Eventually the gems were split amongst several D list Marvel supers and eventually Marvel's Iluminati.
Or is she still cheating on him with Deadpool?
