05.28.2009 - 10:09 | YourAverageJoeMy first exposure to Aquaman was through Justice League Unlimited, where he was awesome. Finally seeing how people on the internet view him was kind of jarring to say the least.

Damn. Looks like some more Justice League for me to look for. Loved the heart joke. I also dig the fact that Aquaman gets some decent publicity in this. Why do people still only think of Aquaman from Superfriends when he, and the concept of Aquaman, is so much cooler (depends on writer) in the comics?
PS was this where Aquaman got his new title as the Water Bearer, or was that in his own title?

05.26.2009 - 21:10 | Cornwind EvilmanI still couldn't make sense of the whole storyline. Maybe I need to find the collections and re-read them again. Just how did the sorceress play into the past and present colliding and....OH LOOK JASON BLOOD IS NAKED.

Wow. Does that mean there was in fact a good JLA storyline still out there, after "Our world at war"?
Sorry to say it like this, but this event was for me one reason I ended collecting comics for a short time. It was just... I just finished the Maggedon storyline (german publisher idiocy) and the Our world at war story was good in my opinion. Not "brilliant" but it had some really good moments.
Still, seeing Kansas bombed was just a "come on" moment, so I stopped reading DC comics. But looking at this, I suddenly think I should take the time and search for the issues.
Can someone perhabs tell me, in which issues I can read about the Obsidian age?

I really liked this story when I read them. One thing that always bugged me, though was just how easy the League gets killed by the "past heroes".
Shouldn't it at least be a bit of an ordeal to take out Superman, Wonder Woman and the Flash?
Overall good story. And excellent summary in 5 panels. :D
