Linkara...you are my absolute favorite person ever. You used a Weird Al song, him being my absolute favorite musician, in a video making fun of one of the stupidest Spider-man stories ever, Spidey my absolute favorite hero. I have never seen such awesomeness.

Am I the [i]only[/i] one to like the Clone Saga and think that Ben Reilly/Scarlet Spider was a great character that should have been kept for the remainder of the series??? I'm honestly starting to get tired of all the hate this saga gets.
On the other side of the coin, this was actually FUNNY hate of the Clone Saga, so I'll let it slide.

As I've said before, the Clone Saga started off really strong, but then constantly got hampered by really stupid ideas, characters, and plot points that went nowhere.

I've heard a lot of people that like Ben himself, and the Scarlet Spider costume etc., but I think it's more the way the story went than the character himself that people don't like.
I don't know for sure though.

03.04.2009 - 01:51 | ReamerIf I remember correctly, the writers actually wanted to make it a much shorter story, but Marvel forced them to keep dragging it out because they thought it was doing awesome business for them. It was back when I wasn't able to get alot of comics, but my dad actually ended up picking me up every new issue of that story line. Looking back I surprisingly do have fond memories of that story, and I think I'm the only person that thought Kaine (not to be confused with Kane without the "I" of the WWE) was a bad ass character ... of course I was around the age of 12 at the time.
As far as the video goes Linkara, another great one. You've quickly become my favorite person on here. Your videos always make me laugh, especially when you rip apart stuff that I remember being so excited about when I was younger, then realizing now just how awful it was. (A football player that fights evil? SIGN ME UP!) Keep up the stellar work.
One other thing. He does only use 5 panels, he just reuses them. Smart way to bend the rules. :)

In addition to my praise of this video, I would like see you do something with character Deadpool for your AT4W series b/c he's the only character that persistently breaks the forth wall. :idea:

heh I'm glad the cartoon series wasn't too confusing with the cloning. They had the clone of Mary Jane, Hydroman and when Spider-man was taken to an alternate universe he met his clone, the scarlet spider. They were in Peter Parker's hsexyh world. Peter Parker got possessed by Carnage and destroyed the multiverse. Plus he lost both Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Very sad really. Then a clone comes around so I can't blame him from being pissed off.

After I commented the next film that starts showing on Sky Scifi/horror happens to be Spider-man 3. What do you think about it Linkara? I personally wished Venum had a bigger part and appeared more as the criminal or that Venum shouldn't have been killed.
It might be different in the comics, but in the cartoon series Vendum was sent back up attached to a rocket and still came back. A little pumpkin bomb isn't going to kil that sybiod. Then again they could always that that little bit that Doctor conners has escapes and replicates.
heh...yeah I have the creative mind to build anything, no matter what. Wish I could do somehting with the ideas.

I think some of the best Norman Osborn stories have been told since his comeback.
Sure the Death of Gwen Stacy was great, but the current Thunderbolts comics and even the late 90's Spider-Hunt related comics have been great. I liked how they focused on Norman being the ultimate Spider-man villain and not the Goblin.

And that pretty much sumed it all up right there. Thought for sure Norman :evil: himself was a clone too since he had been dead in the comics for years. [More than 2 decades our time.]
