Awesome! Been waiting to see Snowflame again, he's so freakin' awesome!
Oh well, I better get back to finishing my work for the theme song contest, keep up the good work.
(btw, when New Guardians ended, did the heroes continue in some other comic or did it just.. end?)

Well, I know some of them moved on to different things. Floronic Man became a villain again, Jet became a member of the Global Guardians... I don't recall seeing Ram, Extrano, or Betty again. And Harbinger was killed in an issue of Superman/Batman, which just made me grumble since it felt like it was just shoving her out of the way so she wouldn't be around for Infinite Crisis.

Not to mention that the comics always take such a long time to get here (I live in Sweden), for example: The latest Spiderman issue, that is getting released next month... Is One More Day.
Edit: Oops, got my information wrong. (That's what I get for not keeping up with released), we're appearantly on Identity Crisis now. Odd, I saw a OMD ad yesterday. :/

Ah, we finally meet the notorious Snowflame! It really is a shame he only lasted one comic because, to be honest, he seems like a creative villain if nothing more and his Ultimate Warrior style of speech is pure gold. I honestly think we need to start petitioning for a Snowflame comic. Because the only other way we could get dialog like that is to ask for more Warrior, but dear god I don't think ANYONE wants to see that again.

I was morbidly hoping Linkara would be covering the remaining issues of Warrior, though I can completely understand why he would move on to something else. After all, it took the collective efforts of what I understand to be EVERY REVIEWER ON THE INTERNET to handle the first issue.

"Life is hard, and then you die." Well, that's slightly disconcerting. And how many times does that quote show up in the comic? Talk about repititive.
I loved your miss Cleo comment. Her commercials from years ago still ring in my damn ears after all this time.
A villain powered by cocaine is extreme win. Forget solar powered or radioactive super villains, drugged out villains is where it's at.
Your very last question is very interesting. I happened to be thinking that during the entire review. He shouldn't be in the group.lol.

And why DC refuses to revive his sheer awesomeness is beyond me. I can honestly say that I am for the group of him being the most awesome supervillain ever. Or at least among the top ten.

You know, if they're such vastly superior beings who can apparently survive being shot, and are the ones meant to, as you put it, have lots of sex to save the world, how the hell were they able to contract AIDS so easily? You would think that, if these six were the ones to keep humanity going or whatever the premise to this weird-ass comic series was, wouldn't the ones that granted them their powers would have, oh I dunno, made them immune to any and all disease just to make sure they wouldn't all be killed by like swine flu or something? And yet apparently they managed to contract AIDS within the very first comic.
I've never experienced such a strange mixture of pity and complete and utter idiocity.
I'm guessing Snowflame is the love child born from Warrior and Sanata's horriying rape night in that one picture from the Warrior review....actually, that makes a little TOO much sense when you really think about it.

And I was wondering if you'd get around to the Extrano question.
Actually, the way the series explains it, those characters are the ones with the right genes necessary to help push humanity's evolution to the next stage on the way to becoming Guardians; the idea that one might not like procreative sex didn't seem to occur to the Guardians.
Poor Joe Staton. This is definitely a low point in his career. An entire series based on "real-life relevance". It still remains an embarrassment to DC.

btw: if anyone is interested in what adolf is saying:

at least if I got it right. Hitler talked in a rather weird accent that is often hard to understand, for example he rolls his "r" with is something not usually done by Germans (maybe Austrians. not sure about them).

TvTropes is a wiki filled with every archetype, idiom, cliche, etc. ever found in fiction. It's notable for its witty writing and sheer addictiveness.
Linkara's been quoted a few times over there, and he's used a few terms made popular by the wiki, so this is just one of many shout outs to it.
