Wait a minute. If Combat is part of the Away Team of Youngbloods, then why is he featured on the group portrait for the Home Team? That means either Youngbloods actually has an interchangeable roster or there's continuity issues with the comic before you even open it. Frankly, I find the latter more believable...
Also, I'm a little disappointed you didn't add Will Smith saying "I make this look good" when he was commenting on Gauge's Men in Black gun. Ah well, still kudos to you-os, great review.

05.18.2009 - 21:48 | UraRengeand here I thought you were going to say in the beginning about Vogue: "because when I think patriotic, betraying your own nation in service of its sworn enemy is the first thing that comes to mind"
wait...Youngblood DID come out before the Union collapsed, right?

05.19.2009 - 08:01 | DemonShe still might've switched sides before the Union collapsed, though - there is no origin story, and therefore, for all we know, she's been working with the Youngblood team for years.

Linkara, your Weird Al references always make me smile. Anyone who references Weird Al that much is clearly one of the coolest people ever.
Sadly the same cannot be said of Rob Liefeld. What a piece of crap this was. And you had to sit through it TWICE. Oy. Granted I was too young to understand most comics back then, but I'm REALLY glad I wasn't into comics during the Dark Age.
-
05.18.2009 - 21:53 | YigSnakeDaddyIn the dark ages, shitty art got into comics because the editors had no eyes, just like Rob Liefeld's characters.

1.)Is it just me or does Diehard look similar to Rob's other creation Deadpool? Funny how Deadpool and Cable were two of the only Rob Liefeld characters that were said to have left an impact.
2.) Just for lulz, I pictured Diehard with a Rorschach voice. His costume IS black and white. Not Mixing. Beautiful.

And 90s Kid is a great character! I hope we get to see him more in the future.

05.18.2009 - 22:40 | Richard WeskerWell done. I've never bought any of Liefeld's crap, and am better for it. Man, why did everything in the 90's suck so bad? I want my teenage years back, '90's!
