they usually are somewhat grittier. It is like the 90's but not as dark. They are very different types of story.

Linkara, beautiful episode. You're right, Neutro's not really a hero so much as a 'weapon', and of course the question is in mind, where the hell where they doing those completely insane tests?!
Anyhow, great video, the fight at the end was hilarious, look forward to the next one!

That aside, great job upping the technical/theatrical aspects of your videos.
I don't know who Dr. Insane-o is, but he's a hilarious character. A perfect evil villain.
And trust me, I know how good is is to specialize in being awesome. Everyone told me that it was a worthless degree...but now look who's saving the world from rampant, unstable, alien machines: awesomeness.

Let's see now...besides a reference to both Barkley vs. Godzilla and Superman's at Earth's End...we have an E.T. reference as well as, if I remember correctly, Linkara paraphrasing one of the riffs the MST3K gang did to one of the Hercules movies (his line about "Being Awesome as a career" insted of "Kicking Butt as a career).
Any others?

Spoony was already planning to have Dr. Insano for his Final Fantasy 8 vid, but then I asked him if he would be interested in doing a brief thing for the "Previously on..." segment of Uncanny X-Men #424. He decided to use Insano there, as well.
While I was writing the review to this one, it occurred to me that the plot of this comic involves evil scientists trying to take over the world with a giant robot, so I asked him if he'd be interested in another cameo, and here we are.

I kept doing two takes each time I did something different with the green screen: one was "Being Awesome as a career," the other being "Kicking Ass" as a career. ^_~
By the by, my plight with the green screen will end up a Premium Member extra in the next week or two, as soon as I get around to editing all my takes together.

Just wondering though, where do you get a green screen at? Since I'm planning to become the wrestling-based media reviewer here once I get everything I need for it, I may want to use it.

And yeah, sorry for not using the whole quote - I kept forgetting parts of it during filming and just needed to go with the best green screen I had.

There are full packages you can buy that have everything you need for a professional green screen effect, but I'm poor.
As such, I got a green screen by going to Target and buying a big green sheet and something to hang it up on (though I eventually just hung it up in front of a window to remove my shadow).
The real difficulty in green screen effects is lighting. The biggest struggle I had with the green screen was the fact that the first time I shot it, my big, lumbering shadow prevented the effect from working despite various attempts at fixing it. There are online guides to proper green screen lighting, though, and it can be done on the cheap.

Seriously though, I think this may be the best video yet. I MAY only think that because of the ending. We got Spoony, we got the magic coin, we got "I AM A MAN!" (which failed, making it even sweeter somehow), and we got the magic gun. Also those awesome sunglasses. Linkara, I think you may be my favorite person ever.

Like one other person said, I think I will also have some pretty freaky dreams tonight as a result of these 2 videos.
Oh and...I'm still waiting for you to review a manga. Perhaps I can throw in another suggestion? This time I suggest: Miyuki-chan in Wonderland by CLAMP.
I'm a **HUGE** Clamp fan, but seriously, this short-lived series MAKES NO FRIGGIN SENSE!!! (i guess best way to decide it is, think a very twisted version of Alice in Wonderland thats also Yuri.....uh, yeah) The only thing I liked about it was the pretty-looking art, and the crossover with Clamp's other series X. Other than that, its one of the few things by Clamp that I actually hate! Plus, its only 1 volume long, so it really is short.

The Dr.Insano bit was gold, and I think he'd be rather pissed about you using a magic gun to defeat his SCIENCE!
