I loved the "Last Time" Intro with the Spoonyone and others. Sadly I must admit I didn't like Blue Beetle and wont miss it. Just wasn't my title and DC did a piss poor job of advertising.
Now for those who want to read a decent x-men series, look up Astonishing X-men vol.1-4. They are the best of the modern x-men books that are continuity lite. Also Grant Morrison's New X-men is great but it does have some continuity but overall the best of the mainstream x-men titles since Claremont's Uncanny X-men.

man what a dumb ass comic, nice epic win with the beginning. the plot would have made more sense if it involved flaming retarded rabits with corn for ears walking on stilts and shitting ninjas while scientologiss battle mormons in "The Holy War No One Cared About" whilst mecha pope 3000 battled giant mutated franky munez over a bag of tostitos chips. i would actually read that comic.

07.25.2009 - 19:58 | Dr. FibonacciI think it would depend on how it's used, or if an armless chimp is writing it. Religious dilemmas, crisis of faith, controversy, even current events can be done, and done well in many mediums if they are treated with thoughtfulness and responsibility. What we saw here was Dan Brown in enema form.
