Course, I was a fan already and figured out what you were all about after the first couple videos you posted here, but still, it's nice that you came out and clarified it for us. Plus, the fact that it was pretty funny doesn't hurt. Keep it up!

True enough, Dan, but I figured it'd be best if I clarified what it was that I was doing for new visitors to the site or anyone who just wanted to check it out, plus I wanted to clarify what I was looking for for suggestions of bad comics.

Nice. =D I would make videos doing this, too. But, I lack the needed equipment to really make it work. I wish I did. As it is, I'll settle for written stuff. This intro was pretty sweet. I like how you'll shy away from the mega company crossovers that plagued Marvel and DC for what seemed like eons.
Good intro and rhey I don't think of you like NC or AVGN. Us comic fans have just as much right to rant and rave about some really bad comics.

Awesome! And to be honest, your voice resembles Criswell's more than the guy in Ed Wood's did, though he still did a good job. I lol'd hard though, I didn't expect the opening :D Oh, and you have the most awesome gun ever. Also that's not a futon, but who cares.
But once again, welcome aboard ;D
Shall I recommend a bad comic? Assuming the damn thing is still out there, there's a graphic novel called 'The Melting Pot' that not only had strangely stomach churning artwork, but the story was awful, it was completely misogynistic and it mistreated its violence license with some of the most nonsensical violence I've seen.
Oh, and why do you consider 'surreal' a BAD comic trait? While it can be a BAD comic trait it can be a good one too, surreal things when pulled off right are hardly ever bad. I love surreality in just about every art form.

Re: Your print reviews: Personally I'd like to see a film review of that awful "Teenage Supervixens etc. etc." comic, just because the world needs to know how awful it is.
BTW, and I really liked the B&W opening sequence.

Also, I wish there was someone who teared new ones to [b]web[/b]comics, like [url=http:// badwebcomics.blogspot.com /]Your Webcomic is bad and you Should Feel bad[/url], but on video, and with an actual schedule. ;D sorry for the off topic.

I have to say i'm really liking how there seems to be aura of respect on the subject on anime on most of the thatguywiththeglasses team. Benzaie recently mentioned his love of fist of the north star, Doug complimented Miyazaki in his latest video, Marz mentioned how she sees anime has one of the few cartoons that have good plots and dont insult our intelligence and Suede obviously loves and respects anime a great deal.
Of course, if Spoony shows anime respect then i'm sure hell will freeze over. Dont get me wrong i'm a big fan of his videos but he has pointed out on many occasions that it seems to be not his thing.
Seriously, am i the only one who thinks that Linkara looks like Doug's brother?
Anyway, hillarious video and i'm very happy to know that your sticking around on the site.

Pretty much the only american comic I've read is called "Runaways", and I love it.
I want to know what you think of the recent comic-book movies like the Incredible
Hulk, Superman, Ironman, Batman, and Spiderman. (How faithfully did the movies
follow the books? Did you like them? (If you saw them :P)
Like I said, I don't read comic books, but from what I saw Marvel does an
awesome job of developing character depth and crap like that, that you don't
normally see in TV etc.)

I would love to see some video adaptations.
Also, are you against reviewing the issue where Spider-Man sells his soul? I haven't read it.
Does it fall under the "I'm not going to review comics that only break small or few continuity issues"?
