I'm pretty sure it lasted a few more issues than this one, but damn it'd be funny if it did. :D
They're uploading my videos a little slowly, so I do apologize to everyone if my voice quality isn't what it should be - this was actually the second video I made (Top 15 was the fourth, US-1 the seventh and most recent [though as I write this I'm uploading a new one]) and at the time suffering from a cold.

I am so glad that you are now a part of the site, Linkara! I absolutely loved your last videos and I loved this one! It's great to see Doug adding new people to his site because variety is always welcome, and your brand of variety is every bit as entertaining as his! Great work man! Was there anything good from the 90's? I am an X-men fan
but damn I have set through and red most of the Onslaught epic.

Oh my, yes, though most of it was in the latter half. For all the crap that gets tossed at the Clone Saga, it started off really well and entertaining. 1999 also brought about Devin Grayson's Titans series and Grant Morrison's JLA run.

When I first read the title of this video, I immediately thought that you were somehow making this video about the 1996 comic tie-in for the Doom PC game. I've read some bad comics, but don't think I've ever read any comic like Doom.
It was literially SO retarded, that it (to paraphrase SpoonyOne) reached infinity, looped back on itself and became something mind-blowing awesome again.

Back in my younger, stupider days when I bought up every comic in site, not wanting to miss out like I did when Image put out their first round o titles, such as spawny guy, youngblood, shadowhawk & the others, I actually bought Doom's IV #1...and OMG sucked.

Now, now, live and let live! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion! If kids of the 90s liked that hyperstylistic, violent art and jingoistic, male-dominated storytelling and shallow, one-note characterization, what harm would it lead to? :)

Well the art isn't as bad as some comics I've seen... though I think the only well-drawn character was the girl... whoever the hell she was...
I've never been a western-comics fan, though. I like the Japanese comics (manga) a hell of a lot more. Just so much more appealing. And even the most idiotic ideas make more sense than this thing did o_O
