Of course he did. You aren't truly EXTREME until you've played a game for about a month strait.
As for the comic itself, meh is about all you can say. It was just another EXTREME comic that didn't do well, just like you said Linkara. Funny review, though. I especially liked your name of Space Stalin. =)
But that's besides the point. Everyone else sees the true evil, right? Think, The Nameless is many in one being, correct? Just like Linkara said, Captain Planet does have great power in the future, but the power is EVILLL!
We must stop him now, or the future will never change. *Terminator theme plays*

... EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ME? ^^

07.26.2010 - 21:58 | mcgovernttNice man, though the Doctor Who reference got me wondering... Who is your favorite Doctor? Maybe after you complete your Power Rangers History, you should do one on Doctor Who.

07.26.2010 - 21:58 | DWP102589The whole "religion indoctrinates people into mindless slaves thing" is a stupid generalization. The religion I follow, the Bahá'à Faith, teaches that one must seek truth independently and with thy own knowledge. The whole indoctrination thing doesn't apply to all religions.

I love space becasue I love grapes! Space, as we all know is made of grapes, hence why it is purple.
Is General Zhan related to General Zod?!
Linkara, that was a GREAT Monty Python and the Holy Grail reference! Very obscure, but well placed! I want to thank you for making my day with that simple joke.

Comic book writers as a general rule seem to be pretty bad at doing social or political commentary. You're right: this guy seems to be doing a bunch of strawmen arguments, and even to an atheist like myself, it's pretty shallow thinking.
Also, 90s Kid must be pretty hardcore himself if he can play a game for that long! That made me laugh.

when did you use footage from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

07.26.2010 - 23:16 | KariI was actually surprised he didn't call this thing out for referencing a Biblical passage in a "religion is for sheeple" comic. (Mark 5:9.)

Yeah, this is a bad comic. Good panning of it, as always. XD

07.26.2010 - 23:40 | CageAquariumKnowing this writer, he probably doesn't mind Hitler so much since he targeted the Jews and gypsies who were largely religious and/or superstitious by nature. Sort of a solution to what he perceives as a great, universal evil, mirite?

Okay, that was pretty bad. My apologies to Starlin, but I couldn't resist. I am sure his comics make him come off much worse than he is in person.
-
07.27.2010 - 00:30 | Remake_TrapStalin was also responsible for more deaths over the course of his reign then Hitler.
-
07.26.2010 - 23:07 | KariSooooo. . . whatever cohesive storyline originally existed in this thing was edited out but they left the writer's favorite soapbox? (A soapbox guaranteed to alienate a LOT of people, no less.) Editors are weird. :eyebrow:

07.26.2010 - 23:30 | crystarrFighting evil with the Seventh Doctor? Good choice, he's my favourite of the lot!
A good review, especially considering the sheer blandness of the material you had to work with!

07.26.2010 - 23:31 | Lotus Prince
Wait.
Is that a good thing?
And, given his lack of goatee, it is truly him and not some evil doppelganger.
