Piranhas aren't illegal in most states.

Hey Linkara
Nice video, but not the best of yours. I have a question. Is the second author of this... thing named Wojkiewicz or Wojtkiewicz. In the first issue I remember seeing former but here in the end I saw second one. I’m worried because the second one is my surname - that means that I could be somehow related to that guy. Oh and by the way my friend has piranhas. Don't ask.

03.29.2010 - 18:21 | mcgovernttNice work Linkara, as always. I was never much of a comic reader (the first real comic book I read as a kid was the second part of "Spiderman: Smoke and Mirrors". Seriously) but your videos are accessible to laymen such as myself. As a fellow Minnesotan, it's great to see you use MST3K references.
I think that the woman in the scene by the pool was Jasmine, and was meant to establish her deciding to "be aggressive" and pursue Burton, thus leading to the confrontation at his house. I also think they might have been hinting at a possible romance between Barry and Jasmine for the future issues that never materialized. Then again, I'm reading too much into a story that's not worth reading into.

03.29.2010 - 18:21 | The Angry ColossalSince you've mentioned "companies that don't pay their artists", have you ever considered reviewing any of Pat Lee's work?
-
03.29.2010 - 18:25 | SzaszAwesome review as always Linkara! I love seeing Mechakara, even if it's for just a little while.
I can't wait to see the resolution of the Dr. Linksano arc!

03.29.2010 - 18:25 | zazakoolaidTerrible art, terrible comic, terrible publishing company... Just utterly awful on every aspect of every level. Fuck Brodsky!
-
Although now that he can terrorize us in our dreams, I'm almost scared to sleep now.
Looks like he's not entirely done his work though...and that both terrifies me and makes me happy all at once.
Brodsky isn't worthy of licking your shoes, Link. He's not worth my Chuck Taylor up his ass. Looking forward to next week already!

03.30.2010 - 16:45 | thatgirlinthebrowncoatI noticed that as well, but... compared to how replete with suckatude this comic was, I don't think that's particularly striking.
-
yeah, that has to do with them not having a soul. also Linkara, you kinda got that thing about life-force draining vampires wrong. they do exist and they're called 'psychic vampires'
google is your friend, kind sir.

That, or Andrea True's top 10 disco hit, "More, more, more"
Also, I half expected a throwback to the Doom comic when... umm... that one Sultry Teenage Super Fox was calling herself stupid over and over and over. Oh well. Fodder for the next Top 15 Missed Opportunities, mayhaps?
As usual, fantastic video, and a great way to end Monday.

its nice that you decide to go back bashing broski its a nice change of pace from liefeld

03.29.2010 - 20:22 | gambit3leHonestly, I've never been one to read comic books of any kind. Mainly because I have an awesome imagination and the way characters are drawn in most comics is limiting and the stories are usually not that great.
However, watching your videos is one of my favorite things to do on the internet.
You sir are a funny, witty, insightful, and downright INTELLIGENT human.
The few comics I have read were the "Gold Digger" books and I only read those because one of my room mates had them and they looked interesting. They were pretty interesting. The other one is a bit more of a Manga, its called Gunsmith Cats. I actually read that one on my own. Other than those two comics and a few webcomics I've followed for years, I've not read much. I did read Miller's "Dark Night Returns" book a few years ago, I found it interesting but very dark and the girl robin thing threw me off a bit. I didn't know he did more and I'm glad I missed them.
Thanks for making such interesting videos.
Also, thanks for rebooting MechaKara!

you can own a Pacu fish the closet relative to the piranhas legally(keep in mind they are semi-aggressive do well with fish of similar size).

The pilot was Ziggy Stardust and saw the spiders from mars. Linkara they do have personality, just that of mud, dirt, card board and saw dust.

03.29.2010 - 20:40 | SahoniOh Gods... why must you forsake the hallowed reviewer of comics?
On a side note: Jiang Shi of chinese myth prey of life force so it's not just a kids show thing. But those were clearly not jiang shi, just badly written chaacters.
