02.23.2010 - 22:52 | johnkenpwnsSo, is it safe to assume that we'll be seeing a Spoonkara in the future?
-
02.24.2010 - 15:52 | poetgriotSpoonkara was in the aforementioned review.

07.16.2010 - 00:43 | Wackd
the split screen at the end was more obvious than usual.
Really? More obvious than, say, Linkara, '90s Kid, and the Ninja-Style Dancer standing three feet away from each other while about to fight side-by-side? Admittedly, a dark light seems to be regressing from the room as the door closes, but it's not that noticeable on the first go-around. And Linkara actually slamming the door in Linksano's face was near-flawless--there's an ever-so-slight change in the lighting before Linkara opens the door. If anything, the split-screen's only gotten better.

The ending signifies epicness to come. What is the Fiendish Plot of Dr. Linksano? Can't wait for the POWERHOUSE EXCITEMENT of the conclusion.

I must admit, when I saw the opening art I thought Poyo had stolen your body for this robotic episode.
And while his point may have been to try and show how excellent robots can be, this disproves it. Robots either want to kill us or turn out to be totally ineffectual (Alpha from "Power Rangers" comes to mind).
And it makes me wonder if the time travelers really will learn their lesson, or if they'll keep trying for earlier dates. I'd love to see universal peace in the 1700s, imagine how the Victorian era would handle aliens.

*mad giggle fit*
K-9 was never all that useful (well, discounting his one appearance in the new series) but hot damn was he funny.
Erasing all memory banks concerning tennis... memory erased.

I don't know why, but the Llarn remind me so much of tribbles. Intelligent, floating tribbles.

-
02.22.2010 - 22:16 | iconsheroOh Linkara, you never fail to make me laugh.
-
What a goofy looking comic. I love how at the end you give us yet another reason why characters shouldn't monologue too much. Dare-Devil wouldn't last a minute at your house

"TIME TO MAKE WAFFLES! :D!"
That made me laugh SO hard.

02.22.2010 - 22:28 | iRaptorI love these old comics. Having read them as a child (i'm 50+), I can tell you that they were fascinating. We think we know everything now, but back then, so much was a mystery. Imagination ran wild, so even the craziest ideas could have been possible. I think the old comics were move imaginative. If you really want a laugh, try the element inspired Champions of the Unknown (and their ilk) from the same time period. Ah, imagination!
-
02.22.2010 - 22:57 | Dechha1981Actually, that's not a bad idea. But if I was one of those Time Travelers, the first think i'd do is kill Constantine (Killing Cezars was loike a hobby back then so no one'll notice) thus preventing the conversion of the Roman Empire to Christianity and preventing the Dark Ages from ever happening. European cities would never have lost running water, would nevcer have killed people for practicing "witchcraft" (Science), etc.
Then again, I myself have made a video arguing that killing Hitler would have messed up the timeline so much that the Civil Rights movement, the Women's right movement, and basically every single left-wing political movement ever would never have happened because Hitler never made Racism look bad.
Eh, whatever.

Hmmm, I guess if Space-Man went on 10 missions and got 10 Silver Medals, he'd still be more decorated if he was simply beat by 10 different guys who all only have 1 Gold Medal each.

02.24.2010 - 18:07 | KirkulesWell, from what Linkara showed us, it seems that a lot in this comic 'does not work that way'.

Also, toilet paper =/= bandages, I can't remember if superficial damage was ever healed by morphing, and the split screen at the end was more obvious than usual. But hey, I really enjoyed the review, and thought you did an excellent job.
I look forward to more of your reviews!
