I want you to lookup and read the manga FLCL (fooly cooly). It has a cool art style and a great story!!! The anime is much better though... Can you do it?

The FLCL anime is great but the manga came after it and changed the atmosphere a bit.. I don't really want to see a FLCL review. I'd rather see something more harem-ish like Love Hina.

I avoid Shojo material all together because its not at all aimed at me being a male American vs. the intended audience of Japanese women, but I digress. Any way good review your showing some really good improvement in mic clarity as well as overall quality, can't wait for more.

I definitely enjoyed this review, and I'm happy to see that you speak louder and more clearly. And you even toned down the swearing! Again, I think that swearing can accent thoughts very appropriately, but that too much just makes the whole thing redundant. Also, I'm glad to see that you've added your personal touch, regarding quirky clips and your section titles, like the Japanese knowledge portion.

Not that your Naruto review was poor (I actually liked it a lot), but congratulations on a definite improvement!

I'm a huge manga fan and I'm glad that someone on the site is finally reviewing it exclusively. I've only read the first few chapters of this series and it didn't appeal to me so I skipped it. I was worried that you'd stick with mainstream series like Naruto, Bleach, and Dragonball but I'm glad that you reviewed something more obscure. I can't wait to see more.

Haha, that was a very great review. I am actually a fan of the Dorama based on this manga. Now that I've heard more about the manga, I'm glad that the Dorama doesn't keep too close to the manga... well, of course it's even more obvious there that Mizuki is a girl haha

But anyway thanks for the good laugh! Especially the "Boy's School = Prison?"comment... I actually had to stop the video because I was laughing so hard I couldn't follow anymore... that's always a good thing :D

that's why most people watched the drama, Mizuki is more appealing and for us girls Toma Ikura:D

Finished watching: Although I do agree with you on a lot of points this was one of the first manga series I completed, so I have a lot of nostalgic feeling towards it. I don't know if I would like it as much anymore though. Also for those interested in gender benders I would suggest looking into HOUROU MUSUKO. It is the story of a grade school boy realizing that he wants to be a girl.

Really nice review. Also the personal touch was a nice addition, alon' with the information moments. Gotta say this manga for some reason mostly reminds me of thoes teen soap operas, only the major difference is that you can laugh at thoes. While this one giant snooze fest of prediction.

Hmm It doesn't look to bad from the review but that's because I haven't sat through 140 some odd chapters that you did. It made me think of Love Hina a bit and to me at least Love Hina is a far better manga And probably my all time favorite . Good reviaw cant wait to see more .

To the manga, I can`t say much.
Personally I am a man but I have to admit I read at last Ouran High school Host Club which in my opinion has a few great moments, but often a "terrible" artwork, while they manage it to make fun about some Shojou clichees, while also making them part of their own storys.

okay, a few suggestions for the future perhaps:

Pokemon Adventures, at last the chapters of the Kanto arc. Surprisingly, this manga was less harmless then the anime, as that for example Pokemon and humans die and Ash is almost killed in some instances. Also Team rocket, not represented by this three idiots which I still like, is more dangerous by having different gym leaders on their payroll.

Chrno Crusade:
A Shonen Manga, created by a male mangaka, but with a 16 year old nun as the main heroin. Combined with a good mixture of "action", humor and romantic, as Rosette Christopher and her friend Chrno, a devil/demon, are trying to find the kidnapped brother of the girl, while also stopping a demon called Aeon to destroy the world in one of this old "I will rebuild the world by first destroying it" plots.
Artwork is sometimes different, but at the whole it looks like something you would draw on an animation cell.
The anime to it... Gonzo Studios. Don`t even watch it. It is terrible!

Shaman King
Difficult perhaps, as that the manga is still going on because the mangaka is a lazy asshole.
But I think god if you want to make fun of it in such a way as how many charakters are always introduced in it, which are killed of only a few chapters later.
... wait, that`s the same concept of Bleach!

And another great review , i really enjoyed watching this even though i didnt know the manga.
That you had some focus on yourself and not only the manga was nicely done and you didn't overdo it.

Bokurano - Mecha anime/manga with darker twists than in Neon Genesis Evangelion. What can go wrong with such a fine idea?

Narutaru (translated to Shadow Star in the States) - Take Digimon and add psychological cruelty. Sweetness. Also has both manga and anime versions.

Aww, before I noticed the title, I thought you were going to review CUTExGUY, judging by the thumbnail. (CxG is a manga by Makoto Tateno I read a few chapters of. Can't really remember if they were good.)

Still, I enjoyed this video. I vaguely remember hearing of it, but didn't know any details.

I didn't the video particularly funny myself, but I was kept interested enough to watch the entire thing, and maybe that's what the goal was. I really like these sort-of reviews.

One thing I'll mention (although most probably have already), is the editing. Whenever the scene changes from manga, to live action, then back to manga, you can see a flash of the previous manga scene. It's very distracting, but I caught that 'Intro' video, so it didn't bother me too much.

Glad you chose a lesser-known manga for your second review. I only heard about this from looking at the manga section at Amazon.com and it had decent reviews.

i liked how it had more and better jokes and such though you seem to tackle the more difficult manga. how about yu gi oh or (i think they have one) the pokemon anime?

i actually liked hana kimi. however, i'll be the first to admit that it is total shojo. there is almost nothing in the story to appeal to a straight male, and when you get down to it, the story line isn't that fast paced or deep. i guess i'm just a sucker for bishonen.
i really liked the t v adaptions. :whistle:

Haha awesome review. What a silly story, I can't stand characters like that. Oh I'll just rearrange my whole life because of this person I don't even know yet. I think it would have been better if Sano didn't know she was a girl. So it ends with Sano not liking her anymore when he finds out and Mizuki realizes she wasted all this time on a gay guy. That would have been some nice irony.
Loved at the end "creepier than usual".

D.Gray-man is a great manga with drama, comedy, and all around epic. its fun to read, and great to look at. if you don't want to review it at least give it a read.
