Man, where have you been Y? Aside from the Magfest videos I would've thought you were abducted and thrown off the planet or something. Well, the patience has finally paid off; glad to see you ressurect yourself and bring the MAN back in manga.
Very fitting to continue with the Prince of Tennis series, making us even more anxious to see how this all ends. And I gotta give you props for upping your editing quality to make the whole video feel a lot more professional. Coupled with the usually wit of commentary and rant, this made for a definite enjoyable video for the site.
I know you have a bunch of requests from the forums, to which I can only advise a balance of good and bad entries to give the series a variety. Toriko showed that you can review both, and it'd be great to see that mix of genres being covered (once you've recovered from Tennis backlash of course). Gotta give Inked Reality some much deserved attention.

02.22.2010 - 22:44 | NorthNightwatchmanJRWell technically "Okinawa Martial Arts" are better known as Karate not Kung Fu but that doesn't have an innate joke and is an even less impressive boast.

02.23.2010 - 00:07 | Nikemadahe meant that the character wasn't just appearing in 2 places at once, he WAS in 2 places at once. The stuff covered in this video had me confused to no end.

God, this manga looks stupid. You keep finding more and more things that either break tennis conventions, outright break tennis RULES, or, as you say, make the manga more like Dragonball Z than a manga about tennis.
I remember one of my roommates reading this one day, and I caught a couple of panels. One of them said that a player went "Devil mode," or something like that. Really? This manga has super saiyans, too? This is just plain poor.

I never seen these many flaws in Prince of tennis. Then again,my opinion is biased because of childhood memories...Hell,I even tried to learn some of the characters' moves!
Some actually worked...somehow.One off the top of my head that i learned is Yuuji's "twist shot"
It doesn't really hurt your elbow as much as your wrist.
Anyway, are you planning to review good manga?
Also, what manga do you plan on doing next?I saw
Koe no Oshigoto in the opening theme!I like that manga.I hope you review it.

The Y-man is back! :woohoo: Oh how we have missed ye.
Great review. I really like the logo, and the cold opening was really funny.
I am not going to lie, I was a bit dissapointed AT FIRST when I saw it was another Prince of Tennis review, but then the video started, I completely forgot about that. There is too much funny here to be disappointed for very long.
Great work, keep it up (once you are over your 'prince of tennis' inspired rage-gasm, of course.)

This was already on my I can't fuckin believe this lasted so damn long list when I found out that they were publishing the first Manga.
I really hope anyone who tries to make sense of the Prick of Tennis has multiple psychiatrists available.
Its easier to find the depth in Hello Kitty.

02.23.2010 - 03:34 | The SingularityGreat review. Now I can finally understand why you hate this manga so much. It would seem that you finally snaped at the end, so I assume you are going to review a different manga next time.
Btw I would love to see your toughts on the "New prince of tennis"

Personally, I saw a few episodes of the anime first, and knew I wouldn't be able to stand it when they had the IMMENSELY dramatic music any time anyone said anything about a game.
"Hey, didn't you want to play a game?"
DUN dun dun DUN DUN dun DUN DUN DUUUUUUNNNNNN!
"Yes, I believe I did."
DUN DUN dun DUN DUN dun DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUNNNN!
It got ridiculous within the first couple episodes and I couldn't watch any further. I didn't even get to the point where they did stuff like the self actualization BS, which apparently anyone can do consciously, and so on. Thank god I got out early.
