Seems to have done it on Linkara's Power Ranger videos as well.
I also notice that the video downloads barely (if at all) keep up with the playback anymore. I'm having to stop the video every 30 seconds or so just to let it catch up - so annoying.

Again, can't say enough how glad I am that you made it here Vangelus, been a fan of yours from damn near the beginning.
Picked up Black RX myself a while back as it just made me nostalgiagasm so much due to growing up on Power Rangers and Masked Rider and all that good stuff. Great great figure.
Quite a few Figuarts I still want to get.
Not to mention the upcoming D-Arts. Speaking of, any of those you plan on picking up?

On a slightly related note, I have a friend with an Exceed Gills who's having trouble getting the foot spikes to stay in place. Is this a universal issue with the toy, or does this sound like a QC issue?

omg i remember that show! it wasn't all bad, i did watch it frequently. awesome figures too, kinda wish i had them. i'd put them in the bike pose with the sword, looks awesome.

Great review, though I honestly have to say that while BLACK RX, like most other Showa rider suits has grown on me, even to the point where I find him pretty cool, BLACK is basically my least favorite rider ever, and the only showa suit that hasn't grown on me one bit. he's just got such a rounded and boring design, and his series is just so overrated. he might as well be called Kamen Rider BLAND

Hi there Vangelus. Out of all the toys you reviewed which is the worst? (the worst toy I have currently is Alex Mercer from Prototype who can't pose to save his life). Also are you ever going to review the Revoltech Rebuild of Evangelion toys?

11.15.2010 - 00:17 | VangelusHey, I'm not really sure, most of my videos have been for toys I dig in some way. The VF-100s Alto Messiah Valkyrie was on a pretty dire end though. I got toys I sort of dislike, but usually I don't actually purchase stuff I would abhor (Playmates' Star Trek or Terminator:Salvation stuff, etc).
No plans to do Revoltech Evangelion right now, mostly because I don't have any. D: I'm not a huge Evangelion guy so I haven't felt like picking 'em up over Getters or Gurren Lagann Revoltechs.

Hey, you found a way to use Raging Agito. (Seriously, check out his YouTube reviews.)
I rewatched the first episode of the Saban version last night, interestingly enough. Their costume was spot-on, but considering how little head moment it allows for (not as bad as the Burton Batman suit, but still...) that's actually not an asset.
I've the first episode of RX, but I'm waiting on the whole series until I've seen the rest of Black. I really enjoy that version, but that could just be from being an 80's kid. RX has the better theme song, though. Either way, my current reserves won't allow for these figures, but they'd be cool to have.

Some extenstive edits and reshoots that's for sure. But it helped the over all flow of it and was still entertaining as hell.
I'm so glad you kept the "Two Hands!" rage clip and the "Masked Ri-DER" bits. Those were some of the best parts of the original reviews. And I still love my Black RX/Masked Ri-DER figure and have him posing like he's ready to engage in battle with his lightsaber. Er...Revolcan. Umm...is that how you spell it? Oh I don't know.
Anyway another great video and it's nice to see you getting them up so quickly now.

Thank you Vangelus for reminding me that I have a perfectly preserved Combat Chopper but no Masked Rider or Black RX figure to go with it(and buying it online is no option)

man...to remember when i was a kid. i was lucky enough to get to see kamen rider black rx thanks to Brazil, we used to get their tv channels and the tons of toku shows they watched like winspector, solbrain, bioman and of course, kamen rider black rx

I haven't been the biggest fan of Kamen Rider, mostly because I'm lazy, but I do remember watching a bit when I was younger.
And I do know for a fact that Figuarts will make you poor, much like Figmas and Revoltechs....
Anyway thanks again for a great review. Maybe you could talk about some Revoltechs or Marvel Legends.

I've been seeing a weird thing with Blip cutting off the last 5 seconds (basically, half a word + the credits). I'm not sure if it's temporary or permanent, but it's something that's happening on their end. o_O
If anyone knows about this stuff, lemme know. The bright side of Blip is I can always update the video without destroying the linked player. :D
