This is an awesomely insightful video for me, as I've done voice and audio work in college and would like to continue to do it independently, but also I think I have to note... I'm sure my 3-year-old daughter will love this, too. Every other time she sees me or my wife on the computer, she wants to know WHERE'S VAGETA WHAT ABOUT VAGETA CA' WE WATCH VAGETA??

But thanks a lot for this. I think I've pretty much learned everything I really need to know about voice acting by this point (after 4 years on the interwebs) and all I need now is initiative.

if you record using audacity I highly recommend upping the default Hz to 96000. If you record using line in and if your sound card lets you set the input Hz to 96000 Hz to it the sound quality is way better. I've recently done a few recordings having my sound card input set to 96000 Hz and my recording Hz in audacity was only 44000 Hz but it still sounded clearer and less noise was apparent. Not at all means magic but it has helped me eliminate a lot of noise in my recordings.
