Hey Marz, long time fan of your work.
I enjoyed this video and it was interesting hearing your stories about your con experiences. Keep up the good work you are very talented indeed. On a side note was that Birdman I heard in the backround?
P.S. Do you think you will ever go back to doing anime related videos on a regular basis in the near future? I've personally have always liked them best. Best wishes and I hope you enjoyed yourself in Canada.

I am considering going to my first con this year, mostly because I know no one where I am and want to meet new people, like you stated. Yet, I will be very shy, I know it, though this gave me confidence and I'm going to rewatch it right before I do go to my first con. Probably, though, I'll be lost amongst the crowd since the local con here (Sakura-con) is pretty big and the other con is placed conveniently during midterms week during october. Ok rant over. Again, thanks. :D

You've gotta come to the Niagara Falls Comic Con one year. This year is only the second year of it, but I think it will become bigger.

Really good video Marz, I particuarly liked how you addressed the saftey concerns of cons. I paid extra special attention to that just in the event I ever went to one someday. Better to be safe than sorry. :)

Well said Marzgurl, well said. Too bad I couldn't be there in person but, I totally agree with you regarding drinking water. Last Anime North I lived on pop and Harveys for 3-days straight and got sick the following week after I went fishing with my friend.
And I really want to slap or Riderkick those idiots who continue to brag about how sleep is for the weak.......... =_+ it just really irks me.
Oh yeah, and also when you DO meet ppl from cons and become frds with them, don't get too close to them at first. Observe them for a while and see if they're really trust worthy and just some sneakers who are just "pretending" to be nice =_+

I wish I'd been able to see a video like this before my first con experience! Thankfully, I've always gone with friends, and we're pretty quick to catch on to stuff like that, but there is still a learning experience involved. Thanks so much for doing this. It's really informative and helpful!
