Well, it sure seems like you guys had a lot of fun in Japan. I'm hopefully also going to take a trip there once I build up the funds. I've always wanted to go. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as you look like you did in the video. =)
Also, I would really want to see what would happen if Goku and Luffy fused. Can anyone possibly imagine what would be created? o_O

Japan is a wonderful country. I visited Japan last October. It was a lot of fun. I went to Tokyo, Fuji, Hiroshima, and Kyoto.
Tokyo is a huge city; it has everything, and Akiba is every bit the otaku mecha that people say it is.
Mt. Fuji is fun, but even on the clearest of days, you can never seem to see its peak.
Hiroshima at night is the best fun a guy can have at night. Just be careful; the restaurant and bar district is only about a block away from the red light district, so don't be surprised, if you get a little lost, if a woman walks up to you looking to have some fun.
Kyoto is a fine city, but a little more traditional than Tokyo.
All in all, it was an amazing experience, one that I would love to repeat.

Ah, Kyoto's the one that keeps its traditions whereas Tokyo is just DECADES ahead of everywhere else huh?

...just not sure about visiting Hiroshima myself...kinda have a bit of a worry that I might not be the happy-go-lucky guy anymore when I do visit. I usually have a thing about visiting memorials that just breaks me. T_T

Yeah not the best idea. Having an american show some respect for the fallen is one thing. But having one break down at something that our country did would, to me at least seem more disrespectful then just not visiting the memorial at all.

Definitely will be my ultimate trip whenever I have the opportunity.
Only question I'll have is when it comes to staying at a hotel, approximately how much will one be looking at for about a week's stay?

There is actually reason why I would like to visit Japan. That reason is that there is this store that has entire floor dedicated to gunpla, gundam model kits.

That was beautiful in its own way.
Wish i could gather a group of friends and the money to go on a trip like that. You just need more than one or 2 people for something like that, so that when you get lost, you have more brains to work it out, hehe.
Japan would be unforgettable...

That was a wonderful, nostalgic video, Marzgurl. It reminds me of my own time in Japan and the fun times I had there. Heck, I still have the poster that my friends, International and Japanese alike, made for me. =)

08.02.2010 - 08:37 | ...kewl vid MG, nice change from your usual fare. The one thing I would go see FOR SURE is the Sokushinbutsu, or "Self-Mummified Buddhas". These monks of Japan 1000ad-1800 would eat bark and twigs for a thousand days and drink poisonous tea in order to mummify their bodies as they were still "alive". To a Buddhist, even life is really death, as it is inevitable. Interesting Tidbit of the day.
Ps-Was there a museum devoted to the Shinsengumi? They are soooo badass and tragic at the same time!

Until now, I thought it was impossible to make a decent Cell costume. It's like Toriyama designs his characters intentionly hard to cosplay as. Well, the MC of DQ8 isn't that hard I guess. And Ayla isn't too hard either, you need to be couragous.
