Something I've always wondered about these educational vids. Are these the same kids over and over again? Also...are they orphans owned by the studio that made these movies?

12.12.2012 - 15:05 | ladydisketteYeah, I don't know about studio orphans Cferra, but something does tell me that due to budget contraints some of the kids may have been contractually obligated by these companies funding the eduational shorts to use and reuse the same stars in different films.
You know, probably a money-saving tactic.

I'd think these kids were bad actors, but I've played House of the Dead 2.

That film condemned anyone who dared to be different than the majority as stuck-up, even in ways that were objectively better, and didn't even show the titular "snob" as lording it over anyone else. This time, the outsider is portrayed as having legitimate problems socializing, though I think she needs therapy more than a party.

Yeah, I was considered a "outsider" in my high school and I never ran off crying in the hallways THIS MUCH as Susan Jane when confronted by the popular people. Seriously, the sobfest was a huge overkill.

When you get enough ridicule and practical "jokes" played on you, you become suspicious and scared of others and their motives. And I would have NEVER dared ask if I could join their table as who would have wanted me as company?
If things would be as smooth as in these clips. But i think they shoudl show these again so kids would think about loners a bit.

Whoa. The music they pick on the jukebox at 2:03 pops up in Fallout 3.
As a shy person, I've never understood why being too shy to speak to someone meant I thought I was too good to speak to said person. But being an outsider is cool now (AYYYY! /the Fonz), so it's all good.

HAhaha. Outsiders uh? Why am I thinking about Scott Hall. Anyway Yeah Susan a couple of times all you needed to do was just speak or offered to help. But no. Okay I know its a different time period but really? They're PSAs fail.

Wow, I feel like I'm watching a documentary of my life. No one ever comes up to me. The worst part is, I do speak up, but somehow no one notices. Even if they stop talking before I finish saying something, they don't seem to realize I was trying to talk to them. And I'm talking at an audible volume too! It just baffles me.
Also, hearing people talking about someone that sounds like you is the worst. You never know if they're talking about you. Problem is, I encounter it in the halls while getting to my next class, so I can't afford to stop and see if they're talking about me. Plus I don't even know them. I always worry if maybe my hair looks dirty.
I just wish there actually were people who aren't oblivious to your feelings like the people in this film. Maybe I just got the short end of the stick in life...
