Could you say also stuff about the new mega Man comics, because they're great to this is the reason why parties, exactly does well even with the damn lawsuits(rented it's partially. I'm not against the artist I'm fine with him actually being upset I think he's just targeting the wrong people you should be upset with sonic Chronicles writers not Archie comics. They were kind stolen two on that right.) A man should pump out great stories and write even with these particular situations, very few writers can turn a bad situation of loss characters. In two good stories especially key characters and supporting characters.
I just hope the lawsuit will eventually be cleared up and we can get the characters back. It's not Archie's fault that sonic Chronicles was full of lazy writers and lazy programmers.
But the blue streak is not your cup of tea go with the blue bomber which there have a crossover soon! Which means Dr. wily's going to be framing the good mad Dr. TheEggMAN!

01.30.2013 - 10:11 | sunnylSo a government spy killing a terroist is wrong, but the navy doing it is fine because they're the navy? This is stupid.
If he has an unlimited credit card, why did he need to moonlight as a cab driver?
And why does he keep getting kidnapped?
This comic makes no sense.
BTW, you should watch The Avengers animated series, Hawkeye is pretty cool in that.

01.30.2013 - 13:00 | Moreno XGood review LAG. I hear and watch many theories and surprises the comic book industry. I guess that's part of the reason I couldn't bring myself to own a comic book, even though I never was drawn to them in the first place. And with recent outcry and controversies around the #700 issue of Spider-Man happening, I don't know what to think.
Only I was ever tune in are tv shows, animated shows and movies about comic book characters are the only access I was drawn to. I respect others who felt adaptations are to be faithful to their original sources, so more power to them. To me, honestly, I don't care how true or faithful they are as long as I can get into the stories that many people knows and love about.
It's good though I can watch Linkara and LAG who can tell me which comics are good and bad.

01.30.2013 - 13:02 | sunnylQuestion: who came first, Green Arrow or Hawkeye?
Not knowing the history I assume Arrow was a Robin Hood clone and Hawkeye was a Green Arrow clone, and like all instances of DC or Marcel copying each other, the copy is more powerful than the original.

Green Arrow dates back to the Golden Age, 1941. Hawkeye only dates back to the early sixties. But I don't know that you could call Hawkeye a Green Arrow clone. Yeah, he uses arrows but his origin is completely different as was how Marvel originally used him, storyline wise. Like 'Geek said, the bow wielding hero is an archetype. During the time Green Arrow was around in the forties there was an old radio program called Straight Arrow, where a rancher would adopt the guise of an Apache to fight evil doers. It was also a comic.

01.31.2013 - 21:21 | SijoThis story doesn't work for me for one reason: for most of it, we're led to believe that Hawkeye is a killer. Yeah it was (sort of) explained in the end, but I would have hated to have gotten that impression through two whole issues. I don't like my heroes with blood in their hands, period.
Besides, who even uses VHS these days!? I'm surprised LAG didn't rife on that. And I can't believe all those criminals were sooo interested in buying a tape "exposing" a hero killing someone. With today's tech -again- those can be so faked!
The only thing I really enjoyed from this review was the intro. It really captured how I feel about the state of comics today.

I honestly did not know crap about Clint Barton until I picked up this series. It's easy to pick up, has great art, and I really like it. This book is easily my favourite right now.
I'm also a lot more invested in Kate Bishop, since I LOVED Young Avengers. I'm glad she didn't get put into Avengers Arena (still pissed that Nico did though). I like the back-to-basic approach to the book. It's just two people trying to do good where they can. Nothing world shattering, just people trying to be help others. That's what got me drawn into Kate's character, and the Young Avengers in general (the scenes regarding the jumper were great). They feel they need to help others, simple as that.
