I didn't bother with this over price piece of crap. Seems you agree LAG. Seriously I hope it's Richard Rider as Nova but knowing marvel it's just some random idiot. I don't see anything exciting. The Phoenix but no Jean Grey (I want her to come back just to get rid of cyclops and emma so all the x-men back together in there rightful place). Whole thing with jean dead or not really confusing and makes sense. The whole pushing emma and scott together just makes me mad. Makes me hate grant morrison more. Doctor Strange why he is not sorcerer supreme again like he should be is beyond me. Why bendis' bad writing of him was ever allowed why Brother Voodoo stuff was ever okay is beyond me. To Defenders my one problem is they have a fake She-Hulk in it. I am glad betty back but just the way she been written and now continue be a wanna she-hulk. I mean covers have her drawn so generic you could re color as jen. If betty wasn't hulk this would have been Jen's spot. To the rest of the book looks to dumb looks to preview forgettable storylines and characters.

and last angry geek have you been reading any Ultimate Marvel? How about a review of the current story arc in Ultimate Comics: Ultimates or the new Ultimate Spiderman run?

Why because I was not a fan of Lex Luthor I mean Grant Morrison's run on X-Men? Or that even x-men haven't been right since screw up by him? Excuse me for being a fan of classic and true x-men. Cause really san fran x-men really been selling up storm close to a million. Oh wait it hasn't.
By I way am fan for 20 years but fans like you are the problems. Fans who post on boards and go after people who disagree with them. We all are allowed to have different of opinions. I'm just tired of marvel (and dc) crap. Why buying less and less of them. Why I didn't buy most x-men books in recent years.

Well ou of all the stories you described here I like the 2 post apoculyptic ones they sound the most interesting! I think the Scarlet Spider one might be Ok as a mini-series!
Alot of this just reminded me of the Earth X stories!
The concept of alternate worlds were some of the darkest vllains are cast in a good light actually apeals to me greatly!

Arrrrgh!! Once again, a reviewer has stumbled upon my biggest pet peeve.

Thirty cents can be written as $.30 or 30c, NOT .30c!!! That means 3/10ths of a cent. I should be able to give you a penny and expect change back.

I was really upset with the nova story. either its not Richard or Loeb has no idea how to write him.

The Scarlet Spider was the best story of the bunch. I enjoyed the Strange story but it wasn't anything that made me want to buy the defenders

aside from that, none of the storys were any i'm interested.

I know you didn't enjoy the Scarlette Spider story as much as I did, but I got some comic book chills when I herd that he will return. I've always loved that character, and I can't wait to see some of the new stories that are going to be based on him.

Just to cushion this a bit, I enjoy comic book issues, though I don't read comics anymore. Thank you for the show.

Now, I've never laughed at anything you say. Anything. Sorry.

BUT, that 1/10th recap had some damn hilarious edits in it. Much appreciated & really well-done!

Weird, thought I was the only one.

I like and watch this show, but have never even cracked a smile at any jokes, skits, etc.

To me, none of that is funny at all. Pauly Shore time. But once the show starts proper, I am hooked!

Concerning the Watcher "42 minutes where he doesn't see anything" bit, I suspect Uatu DOES watch the future to knows what happens during that period, and then just acts as if he's still paralyzed and blind during that period.

The Age of Apocalypse story is going to continue in the Age of Apocalypse ongoing that launches next year.(If it doesn't get cancelled before it starts) I also thought that this was the best story in the book.

Really enjoyed the synopsis this week and to parrot what you have already said the art work is wonderful. Just looking at it made me nostalgic (ba-zing) for some of those What if titles. Again, great work, LAG, and can't wait to see more.
