I'm afraid you're a bit misguided with the grammar thing. Go here and read, please:

Also...
What, no mention of the Neo Geo home system? That one was a financial monster as well.
Finally, laser discs were hardly a waste of time. The average retail cost of a movie was around $35, which was only about $10 more than VHS sell-through titles at the time. They also had far superior video, digital sound, random access capabilities, and invented the idea of putting extras into the package. Many early deluxe DVDs were essentially recycling material already made for LD box sets.
You're right, though. That Pioneer interactive system was ridiculous.

It was actaully the remains of a Mega Drive Laser Disc add on project that SEGA had with Pioneer. Originally in 1989, SEGA planned on building a Laser Disc attactment for MD. That was to both play LD games and movies, but Pioneer thought that the ides was too overruled and overblown and SEGA felt that it was way too expensive and too risky to do. So the "MD LD" project scrapped in mid 1990. This is why the LaserActive was compatible with SEGA CD/MEGA CD games because SEGA and JVC designed Mega CD instead.
NEC dissapeared from the video game industry never to be seen again in 1994 after the PCFX. Though they did plan to help SEGA design the Katana/Naomi Dreamcast, but bailed out at the last moment. It was actually the same power as 3D0.
The Fairchild Channel F predated the Atari 2600 by one year. It was released in 1976 and yes it was a very primitive and poorly designed Pong clone.
The Vetrex? The Vetrex was such a stupid for a console. So ridiculous, that people that brought ColecoVision laughed at it's stupid design and novel idea. The Apple Bandai Pippin is so obsure that it's not even mentioned in the list of all time worse consoles. Hell I don't even remember people talking about it in 1996.
The Casio Loopy failed because Japanese gamers of both sexes went for the Saturn. It was a much better investment at the time. In 1994 you could just buy a Sega Saturn for 29,000 yen, girls didn't need to get a Loopy system. Pun Intended.

By "summarize", you mean "become incredibly butthurt by a barely 11 second reference to the truth, which you feel the need to whine about like a 6-year old", right?
Great summary.
I wish I could ignore the rest of the review, ignore all other 9 consoles on the list, as well as the point of the actual video in the first place, and focus entirely on 11 seconds of a barely related PS3 comparasion, like you.
Then, I could be a useless little whiner, putting their fingers in their ears and crying "la, la, la" in denial, too. We could make a special club and cry to each other like sad little emos! yay!
Oh wait.. I would never want to be like you. Because I have some self respect. Sorry.
But yeah. I get it.
You're another pathetic butthurt Sony fanboy crying themselves to sleep over hearing the truth. BAWWW.
Of course, that automatically qualifies you to summarize the rest of the video, aside from apparently the only several seconds you payed any attention to, to piss yourself and cry, right?
Another Sony fanboy gets the truth shoved down their face, and cries like a little bitch about it.
Awesome.
Because the greatest thing about it is that everytime it happens, they do all the work to make themselves look stupid, and people like me have only to laugh at it, to rub the public embarrassment in.
Now go off somewhere and be ashamed. xthxbai.

You seem 10 times as butthurt about the comment you replied to than the comment itself! I mean 12 stanzas is a little much for somebody to mock a mockery. Maybe you should comment on the review! I'm really guessing you are an xbox fanboy with little sanity left from playing too much halo 3. I only say that because halo 3 sucks.
As for the review, I heard of the Vectrix and the Nomad, making you wrong, but the best moment definitely was the reference to the PS3. The PS3 does suck, and that controller part cracked me up. And I'd also like to mention that The Suffering is the greatest game ever.

I know I'm 6 months late but goddamn dude calm down. Everybody likes to defend their $500 investments. What's with all this console hate? I just buy them all when the next gen stuff comes out lol
Personally I own the Nomad, the Sega CD, and the 32X! And I play them all the time. I guess you could call me a Sega whore, but honestly I love obscure systems and I need to hunt down some of these forgotten systems. I actually heard of most of these, in fact me and my uncle were just talking about the Vectrix before I watched this! Creepy!

@ Roach
I agree he has given it a chance. though i hate the Xbox 360 fanboys, and though PS3 has less games, i thought it had the best games overall
I give the fanboys a chance to use reasoning but they can't seem to face the PS3 is the most powerufl console yet. hopefully people will soon value it more

dude the ps3 is great. it has all these features and such others don't have. though it has less games i like it's games more than any other system than the PS2. why buy xbox 360? you pay $100 everytime it breaks and way too much for the internet. and the wii is just kid shit. just what i noticed but everyone needs to shut up about the PS3. it rocks, it's just they need more games. after all the console as a whole just kicks ass. :cheer:

It's easy to make jokes about PS3 due to the fact Wii outsold it upon their near simultaneous releases. But granted, for what it is... it's still a decent system.
But I will agree, X-Box 360 is worse. I never bought an X-Box upon it's initial release because I kept hearing from my friends that it broke down more often. And why Microsoft thinks they can price it at the exorbitant value they think it is... I will never know.

I think you ripped on the Vectrex to much. It was a nice system, but it had the misfortune of being released in 1982, also there was little 3rd party support. I own a Vectrex and it is one of the most interesting gaming expieriences you can get. And it gets you perfect ports of games like Asteroids and Armor Attack plus a library of other several games such as Clean Sweep and Scramble. Also, don't complain about no color because even vector graphix arcade games used overlays

Of all these consoles i indeed never heard of, i had the luck to own a Watari Supervision, i actually bought one of these at a flee market for about 10 bucks, including 2 awesome games.
Sadly however, it broke down after several years of service after which i bought a game boy.
This was an interesting review, definitely different from your usual reviews, i thoroughly enjoyed your review and i hope you keep up the good work.
Cheers,

Your inflection has definitely gotten better, and I like your use of humor. Congratulations on your ever-improving series! Incidentally, I remember laser discs. My middle school or high school made the mistake of purchasing a player for the library. It was so frustrating to navigate through those things. You had to find the right area to click play, so you're not a mile away from your intended area of the disc. I can't imagine doing that on a console, nor can I imagine trading in ten or eleven
ox 360 systems for ONE of those. Jeez.
Also, one of my friends actually has a Vectrex (or at least had one; he may have traded it to someone)!
