Man, I can't believe how messed up the final boss sequence is regarding how many fights you have to go through on one life AND a time limit.
Poor Troy...too bad he was a jackass in the end. :P
Also, poor Dr. Insano...it's almost touching.

Loved the review, but c'mon, Spoony, "Ken" does NOT use a gun! Haven't you ever seen a "martial arts" anime? Even DBZ? Those "gun blasts" are supposed to be ultra-rapid punches and kicks. It's such a fricken common sight, I'm surprised you didn't catch on! Oh well.

Hilarious review! The rant in the beginning kept me giggling, and I loved how you read all the dialogue of that stupid game aloud. PLOT TWIST HOMG!
The pink, freakish orb-son is absolutely adorable. Ahh, Dr. Insano. Mad scientist by day, DJ by night!

I wanted to watch this video out of curiosity, but as soon as you started showing gameplay clips, it all came back to me and I remember playing this as a kid!
I never thought of the title and any relation to the Street Fighter series...
Out of further curiosity though, wasn't this game two player co-op? I could have sworn I played it with a friend.

I hear Devil May Cry was originally going to be a Resident Evil sequel, and this possibly makes even less sense. Note to videogame developers: it's okay to start new franchises.

Street Fighter 2010! That game is so great and I'm quite serious. I still think its dumb they named that game this way but aside of that it has a lot of good things to it.
I'm gonna have to disagree about the controls, they're actually quite responding and simple, it just requires to know how to use them. The game is pretty darn versatile, somersault kicks (with power-up), perfect wall climbing and all the likes.
The game may seem long but by now, it takes me 30 mins top to complete it and its still a blast to play and the graphics are pretty good.
What's with all the negative reviews that never acknowledge good soundtracks? By that, I mean, any reviewers of course. Street Fighter 2010 has awesome music.
Well, to each their own but this game is one of my favorite NES games of all times.

Unless there is a code I'm not aware of, this game is single player.

[color=red][/color] I must say im not a SF hardcore fan either i dont know im more like a SNK Arcade type of guy who just want to have a little more action in my characters, yes, i find SF veeeeeeeeery stiff. but Tekken 3 was the shit one of the few 3d fighting games that rocks along with bloody roar 2, but still, SNK im your bitch, chau :P PS. RIP Michael Jackson, im a Rock guy, but he was Michael Jackson Damnit.

Whew. When I first heard that this review was coming, I was immediately worried that the major rant would be about its Street Fighter connections, but this review did digged in deeper. Well done.
Loved it, loved the ending, loved the Of Course-paradox and really loved the Quantum Leap reference.

Seriously though what was Capcom thinking when they made this, and why Ken of all fighters? What about Ryu or Chun Li or even Sagat? Hell even Guile? This was just another rush job and a spit in the face in the Street Fighter franchise,
