08.08.2009 - 03:47 | Lee is Still GamingAt first I thought Wendeee Lee was in here, but it was a false alarm.
Her body double, Michelle Ruff, does a voice in this game.

08.08.2009 - 00:30 | Speedwagon33Ah yes, it is a very good game. You should really learn the tips off of the DVD that came with it, they really help.

I've tried BlazBlue, and honestly, I still prefer SF4 for my 2D fighter fix. The mechanics in BB can sometimes be confusing, with SO many choices in how you attack and defend. I prefer to keep it simple.
And a dig at Fallout 3? Thou shalt burn, Lee! Thou shalt burn like Ragna's hometown! Like...that one town Sephiroth destroyed. Like...like...something that burns! Mwahahahaha!

08.08.2009 - 02:56 | NerullDefinitely make sure you check out Guilty Gear. I liked Blazblue, but I still find Guilty Gear to be a more polished and balanced game. It's also filled to the brim with awesomeness and badassery.
-
08.08.2009 - 05:55 | superhypermoosemore polished? like their amazing AI. Seriously every guilty gear game I have and have played the AI is completely broken, I can beat the entire game by pressing one button! I'm not even including the D-pad. The computer blindly walks into you repeatedly without counter attacks you just pick if you want to punch it or kick it and then just press one button till it dies. Guilty gear has great multi-player but the AI is just broken.

08.08.2009 - 03:58 | captainsonuvaI'm surprised you didn't mention the kick ass soundtrack in this game. Good review though. I freakin love the soundtrack.

Great review though, except for the Fallout thing. :)

I tried out the GG series, but i couldnt get into it. My greatest 2D fighter is MVC2.
However, the game i really want to get that uses a similiar fighting engine is HOKUTO NO KEN. The MUGEN chrs are cool enough on their own, but i want that game :D
HAHA, i get it!
Makes sense to segway the homoerotic vikings into the Spoony clip

I really liked this review. The enthusiasm in your voice was definitely there and the choice of dialogue was well done. It was really entertaining.
You did a good job talking about the game as well. If this game ever comes to the PC I now know that I should give it a try.
I am a bit concerned that you spoiled a part of the game's story though. It might piss some people off.
