I think Marble Blast Ultra is a pretty well put-together game... probably because I have it. Perhaps I might go try Switchball also.

Well Switchball seemed just new version of Marble Blast Ultra with better grafics and physics engine. But all those trophies that have invaded online gaming have truly spoiled things. People are just going blindly after getting bigger internetp.

Anyway, yeah, Marble Blast...I do like that game, but I thought Switchball moved too slowly from what I played in the demo. I'll have to try it again...

Also, if you like those games, there's a PC game called Ballance that I feel trumps all other Marble-type games. Save for maybe Marble Madness.

I think it's called Ode to Laharl. It's from Disgaea 1(I think), 2(definitely), and 3(pretty sure about this one). It's played mostly in the item worlds when you get to a mystery room.

I find these getting better and better every time.

I played the original Marble Blast Gold. It was pretty good. Don't know why you made a big deal about the marble jumping, though...

This was one of the Xbox Live Arcade games I got free...I kinda liked it (although Zuma is the only one of those I still play...occasionally).

i already had marble blast (because my friend had marble blast gold on his mac) but thanks to you i discovered switchball.

I don't think anyone was. But I did enjoy him put down GunZ, the only game where glitching is an acceptable form of gameplay

It's a fun time-waster, definitely. I didn't have a problem paying 800 points for it, though 400 does sounds A LOT better.

If there's one thing that went through my head while playing, though, it's that I wish it had some more personality. Like Super Monkey Ball.

In fact I like him so much I even watched this review even though I hate these damn Marble Madness games with a passion. Not even the ultimate game of marbles they play at the end of Men In Black looked fun and that's playing with frickin' galaxies!

I dunno if you know this. I'm sure you do but I'm just making sure..Marble Blast is Free online. This Website called Instantaction has that game as well as a bunch of others and they are free to play. Oh sure there are things to unlock but Marble blast and Marble blast ultra are pretty much the same game as far as i can see.
